If she has a good relationship with her brother, it's very positive. Especially if he's an older brother (authority figure). Have you watched Breakfast at Tiffany's? Remember how Holly nicknames Varjak "Fred" after her brother, and ends up falling in love with him?
If women have strong male role models in their lives (especially father/brother) they unconsciously seek similar qualities in a mate.
Ask her what she means by that. From there, if she interprets it positively, continue as normal. If it's negative, ignore it and continue as normal. Just keep it in your mind and try and reverse those thoughts. I don't see any point in addressing it directly. You could use it to deep dive her. Depends on what you do, just make sure not to react as if the words phased you.
i was 24 she was 28 she had a 24 yr old brother. So I look like a younger man who was her brother! instant-fail?
nope.. still hooked up lol. just brush it off whatever. She even gave me the "I dont know why I'm doing this with you but I am still gonna do it" speech.
Haha, yeah I've never tried that, but I think I would if given the chance. I've never had a girl (that I'm attracted to and "pursuing") say that I look like her brother. I wouldn't be too worried about her saying that though, as long as we're still going on dates and moving forward. If she said that after sex, then I would get pretty creeped out...
