I'm 27. The large majority of girls I date are under 25. Occasionally even under 21. I find that I don't relate much to girls who are still under 21 so I go for them less, not because they are less responsive to my advances. If anything, the younger they are, the more responsive they are. I am not especially attractive, most of the guys they hang out who are their age are much more attractive than a me, I just have better game, fundamentals,and good style. My experiences are the same as Ray describes. I'm 35 now, and most of the women I am meeting and taking to bed are in the 19-27 range.

I'm not that much younger than you, but honestly: were I to change time and start learning pick-up earlier, I wouldn't want to do that. Different people have different tempers/characters and from knowing myself, I can say that without my weak period I would never get so memorable "never again!" moments, therefore without them my motivation may even be way smaller.

Also, being weak-with-women in your early youth gives you the opportunity not to make mistakes too early (like getting married with a girl who isn't your ideal, but she's your 1st/2nd girlfriend and you neither know any better, nor you know how to make your dreams come true). If you can't settle for not much (due to not having even not much), you have to fight for your future - and oftentimes get much higher dividends.

Being a late bloomer is at the same time a curse and a blessing - and really, the thing YOU want it to be. Looking at what our older brothers have achieved and achieve every day, I think it's best to be optimistic and keep your motivation high so we can be like 'em in the future.

ya, I guess it's more of missing out on the young, innocent puppy-love type of thing, missing out on so much sex, but there is a bright side, which I remember a dating/life coach told me, told me this about in December of last year, that I should feel lucky I don't have to pay child support all these years, since there are guys that accidentally knock up their first/second girlfriend in high school or college, like teens and early 20's, so yes it could be worse.
