Seduction pad: comparing notes (pictures inside…)

Greetings gentlemen!

I'm not sure if anyone on this site has ever done this already, but as someone who is still pretty new to seduction and just now getting himself back out there after a year-long committed relationship, I thought it might be interesting to post some pictures of the seduction cradle I've been putting together over the past few weeks. I remember reading a great GC article on this subject, and I've done be best to put all it's suggestions into play.

Looks pretty good dude! The only thing I see that is a no-no would be the mirror above your bed. Get rid of that and put a nice, matching headboard on your bed that you can use to tie girls to. If you go by the rules of feng shui, which I truly believe aide in the sexual vibe of a bedroom, you should not have a mirror in your bedroom at all. I do have one in mine but I cover it with a tapestry unless I'm using it.

The seduction pad looks good but it's hard to take in the overall vibe as the picture does not show the whole room.

What's the setup generally, do u have own place, share with friends/family, is it apartment/house/etc, how is it decorated, what is the foyer/entryway like, what part of town etc... this would be helpful in giving more specific advice.

Also what is your date plan and how does it complement your logistics?

Thank you for the tips thus far! The right side of that picture got cut off somehow—here is a more complete one below...although I do see Ray's point in needing to see the whole room. I will take more pictures to try and give a complete concept of my whole place. (Will do something about that mirror too...!)

It is a single studio apartment (I live alone) in the heart of downtown, and it's across the street from a major music school, where I earned my degree (and filled with lots of college girls). The building itself is a historical landmark: it started as a grand hotel in the 1920's and housed many US presidents over the decades. It has recently been renovated from the inside out with fully modernized and remodeled units. There are two bars in this building on the ground floor and a third just across the street, although the bar I've had the most success with women is an eight minute walk away. The three bars nearby are either too crowded and/or play super loud music. The one I like is a very dimly red-lit, salsa dance bar, which attracts more of an ethnic crowd (especially eastern Europeans and Latinas). The environment is more subdued and attracts a bit older crowd (I'm 36).

It seems like nightgame is your thing, anyway I notice there are a lot of earthy tones there, browns greys purples maroons etc and while these complement each other to some extent it might be good to add a bit more colour or contrast, especially if the lighting is in a yellowish incandescent tone which also has an earthy feel. How about a bedspread/doona in bold candy stripes, white and navy, or white and red? Some matching pillows? My bed is actually pink and it's not as gay as it sounds, women really like it. If I was entertaining in daytime I would want to get as much natural light in as possible, I think maybe you could get some whiter lights for when they come in to give more of a feeling of normalcy and then dim them as they get comfortable / watch a movie etc.

Thank you for your continued input, Ray! Night game is basically my thing, although I do my best to flirt during the day whenever I can. I'm just beginning to get comfortable making girls I've just met blush with well-handed compliments... and it feels awesome! Baby steps...lots of them... Speaking of trying to figure out which aspect of seduction to focus on: right now I've been covering the state of my wardrobe, bachelor pad, and my physical fitness. My goal is to nail down as perfectly as possible all the passive qualities that help getting laid: fundamentals and logistics. As these things take better shape little by little each day, my confidence around women seems to rise naturally, making it easier to pull off bold moves I would have previous shunned making. I want the confidence of knowing that a girl will melt in my arms the moment she sets foot in my place...!

I'll take a picture during the day: it can actually get pretty bright. Here's another night picture with the lights on full (everything is on dimmers =D).

I see what you mean by the earthy tones...I've actually had my eye on a plush, royal red comforter that has white on the opposite side. Maybe I can work both of those colors in with a creative layout. Also been thinking of getting a white faux fur throw to make custom pillow shams to spruce it up even more...and soften it, too. ;-)

Hahaha—yes you could call it that too! Actually, that cat did cockblock me once by jumping onto the bed just as I had a beautiful, super slender Mongolian girl on her back as we started making out... but, I do love my little critters to death. Hell, pictures with them has gotten me a lot of online messaging from women: "beautiful cat!" ... etc. I just need to have them put away before I have a girl over.

Looks like your lighting is on point. I could get a better feel for the room with the better lit photo. One other thing I'd suggest is a fitted sheet + doona for a trimmer, tauter, more modern look as the way the bedspread / throw drapes down at the sides looks a bit old fashioned maybe...

Anyway I'm keen to see the progress I'm actually decorating atm and I may post some pics later (see my thread titled "Furniture advice", in General IIRC).

Great thread. And great pad, Mischief.

I'm going to share my place with you guys so that you can compare and critique! I have been here about four years and absolutely love it. It's in an ideal spot for seduction as there is a bar literally 30 seconds away walking distance. I call it Nova's Palace.

This is the kitchen. It's a bit messy I know lol, I always forget to clean. I don't even really bring the girl in here though so it's fine. Just your standard kitchen really.

Here is the living room. I know what your thinking, Nova you slob! Look at all that rubbish. But wait a minute, wait. There is a strategic reason for the mess. Can you spot that free corner on the couch? Well the mess is there ON PURPOSE so that when the girl and I come in we only have one place to sit.... That's right... Right next to each other ;-) Works like a charm.

The bathroom. I have had the plumber around for a few days so it's in a bit of a state, but no biggie, the toilet is easily accessible if you just move the big blue bucket and pull off the dirty bath mat. Just make sure you wash your hands after.

And finally, I have left the best for last. This is where the magic happens. I call this room my 'boudoir of passion' the ladies love that. The orange paint really helps intensify the atmosphere.

Having spent the last ten years of my life as a reclusive, classical musician and despite my recent best efforts to go for a modern, chic look, I seem to end up old fashioned anyway, haha...! I guess that's just my subconscious concept of "luxury." I will definitely work on tightening things up and adding some brighter colors—thank you for the advice!

I've been using Photobucket, but beware that my attempts to directly insert pictures from Photobucket into my posts have resulted in them getting cut off from the right side (see picture in my first post above). Hey Rob, honestly the mirror in the bedroom is probably not a big deal. I just like the way feng shui practices make your home flow. I don't particularly believe in all the hoopla involved in it. But if you are not very savvy when it comes to furnishing or decorating a home, like me, then feng shui can help you tremendously. Look up some photos of feng shui homes and bedrooms on google. Have you ever been in someone's house that although it was nice, it just didn't flow? You don't really feel the urge to hang out there. It didn't have a good vibe to it. I had this problem and studying feng shui helped a lot. I don't follow every detail but I tried to adhere my bedroom to it as much as possible.

I guess if you have a studio or maybe your bedroom is the only room you really have then you can make exceptions. Basically you don't want anything like, TVs, exercise equipment, or anything that would distract from rest, relaxation or relationships. If you must have these things in your room you can cover them or keep them out of site when not in use. Also if you are in college or your whole life revolves around party mode, then I guess this stuff might not matter as much. I own my home and I am established so it wouldn't be congruent for me to have a party house. Now my shop is the party spot. It has nude posters of girls everywhere, cool posters, pool table, darts etc. Every girl loves looking and commenting on those nude women and it gets them horny as fuck. I wouldn't put them in my bedroom though.

When it talks about "chi" it just means the vibe or how the room makes you or others feel. As you know our environments and surroundings are our #1 influence on us as humans. Your home is to a lesser extent but it still is.

Thank you, Mr. Rob—I'm glad my crib could be an inspiration! Here is an updated version, tweaked to take into account some suggestions to add lighter colors. It's a good time of year to shop at places like Marshall's—got two more faux fur blankets today at clearance prices!

Thank you also, bassman! I think I shall plan to install a curtain rod over that mirror with short drapes to cover it, soon. I'm reading the article you posted on feng shui—thank you for the link and all your advice in this thread!
