So I was at a college town area (not the literal campus but the shops nearby so it's mostly students anyway) and I opened this Blonde with amazing green eyes. She responds well and stops to chat. She was very bubbly and social although I don't think she fully hooked in the sense that she didn't ask me any questions back directly but she would always 'vibe' on whatever I was saying, if that makes sense.
THEN out of nowhere some mid girl with frumpy brown hair comes up to us as if she knows the blonde. So I ask her if she's her friend and she's like "we can be friends". The feminist then asks "Did you guys just meet?" and we say yeah, and then she introduces herself, gets our names and starts asking the Blonde where she's headed. The blondie says the grocery store around the corner. The girl asks her if she needs her to drive her there (lol its literally the corner remember) and if she's gonna be okay. And the blondie is says she's fine.
So the feminist walks off to her car. Completely ignoring me. But after that, the blondie also said she needed to get going so we all go our separate ways. As I walk off, I notice the feminist still looking at me with this distasteful expression on her face. So I'm like "fuck I need to get out of this area asap" in case she starts following me around and tanking my sets.
In college areas, I only open indirect and I don't number close or anything unless I feel it's super on. And if anything I've been more stifled as of late and have been ejecting if the set isn't going well. The only 'risky' thing of the whole situation that I can think of was me opening a girl after sunset...BUT it was like 6pm on an extremely well-lit stretch of pavement...
I'm wondering how I should've handled this extra girl coming into the set. Because on one hand I don't think the set was going to go anywhere and it was probably only 5-10 seconds away from turning awkward since she wasn't directly asking me anything. So eventually there would've been an awkward silence once I run out of stuff to say. However, she did stop to talk and she was also very 'stimulated' by the conversation. So how would you call out the feminist in a chill way?
Also, I'm wondering what to do about this college campus. Maybe I'll just wait a few weeks and resume gaming? maybe only focus on the busier campus area vs the quieter college town? It would be a shame to have to drop this venue from my roster over something minor like that. Also this is a public university so the risk of getting 'banned' are even lower here...
