Hi everybody,

I was just wondering, how do you work on getting a sexy voice. My voice is already pretty deep, but something Chase wrote about was thiss idea of having a purr in your voice. What exactly does that purr mean..?

Also, are fundamentals more important than dressing above-average?

I defer to Alan Rickman. This man has a crazy purr to his voice, and women swoon over him.

Fashion is a part of fundamentals primarily because you'll be in clothes during approaches. If you're not in clothes, then I guess you really wouldn't need to worry about them though ;). Don't get too caught up in categorizing things - the point is, working on fashion will increase attractiveness.

Try to think of fundamentals as separate enterprises. You need to be working on them rather than spending time comparing them. Ensure you get your fashion down. One of the easiest tips I can give you right now is to just choose a few base colors that look good on you so you don't have to fret about trying to match. I wear blue, green, black, and gray. Red is a great color to work with as well. Unfortunately, it doesn't quite look good on me as I still have acne scars, and red just embellishes those rather than my blue-green eyes.

In conclusion, yeah, try to work on all your intangibles, and anything you really can to get better with women. Fretting about having worse fundamentals in some areas won't get you anywhere - only action can do that.

Thanks Ross,

When you're picking fashion items and clothes, how do you know which colors and styles to get?

I'm fashion-defective =(

Bring a girl who has an eye for fashion with you to go shopping, or a guy who specialist in this field. Your style is different to everyone else depending on your skin colour, your height, and your size.

If you want to play it safe, The 3 main universal colours that generally looks good on all guys are: Blue, Black, and Grey

Hey me too! Or at least I used to be. I have a couple tips for you:

1. Move down a shirt size. This does WONDERS. It really is like a cheat code. You go from a scrawny guy to buff with one or two size changes. When I did this, people told me that I'm looking good and got big, but in reality I hadn't gone to the gym in weeks. This plus correct posture is huge.

2. Find an style that you want to imitate. I'm a big vampire diaries person. So I've stolen a lot of my style from them. Dark jeans, dark blue, grey, black, dark red shirts. I'm a pale white guy, so it looks good on me and it isn't too much of a stretch.

3. My favorite two websites for getting clothes are forever 21 men and express. Just to give you an idea of where my style comes from

Native,

For the voice thing, I find it best to pick someone's voice that you find powerful, masculine, and appealing to have (Alan Rickman like Ross said, George Clooney, etc) and trying to imitate their voice. I have some trouble with voice too sometimes, and I find it helpful to just focus on slowing down my voice and enunciating everything I say clearly.

As for fashion, I always try to be just a little bit over-dressed for the occasion. For example, at school I'm almost always wearing nice button downs with a nice-fitting pair of jeans and good-looking shoes/boots. I've been getting compliments from a lot of girls in my social circle on how I dress (and even some guys too). You don't want to go too overboard and look try-hard, but overdressing a little bit can't hurt. It also depends on the style and image you are looking for, but there's a lot of ways you can look stylish and fashionable.

V,

1. Agree 100%. Most guys are always wearing sizes way too big when they could easily go down a size or two. Not just to accentuate your body, which is always huge, but the whole baggy shirts and pants thing doesn't look good at all in general. Even with pants, most guys could go down a size or wear a belt. The sagging pants halfway down the ass so you can see half of the boxers (I'm exaggerating a little, but seriously what are those guys thinking?!?) looks terrible and I don't think it would be bringing any high-quality girls.

2. Me too. I know that some of the characters have been wearing long sleeve shirts with a button placket halfway down the chest (but not a legit button down). Don't know what they're called, but I like those. Seen anything or gotten anything like that anywhere?

A kind of general question I have, but what fundamental specifically is the most powerful/beneficial/important to have? Obviously all of them are important and good to have, but which one should I (or anyone else) try focusing more time on specifically to improve? Basically something that would give me a big boost in attractiveness/sexiness and is a must-have. I've gotten fashion down pretty well and am still trying to improve, and I'm trying to think of what I should target next.

Hey Pato,

Do you mean something like this? The red shirt that's the top layer is what I think you mean. I spent forever looking for it, so I figured I'd save you some time. This one is from forever 21 men. Its under 10 bucks and looks great. I have this in dark red and grey. Really fits my style. Its called a thermal henley.

And if I had to pick one fundamental, it'd be sprezzatura. It helps in so many areas and has benefits outside of seduction. Its that special thing that only a few people have. Its also the most difficult because it is so broad. I'm still trying to master it. If I had to pick one that helped me the most, it'd be either my body or my facial expressions. I love how expressive I can be. Its really fun, because you can really connect with a girl with a facial expression. Its like an inside joke that you have without saying a word.

I'm still trying to get to Damon level eye expression though. Really advanced stuff there.

Yes! This is definitely the kind of thing that I was looking for, thanks a ton. I think it'd be a good alternative to my normal button downs and a good look in more casual settings. I do think I'd leave most of the buttons, if not all of them, unbuttoned.

Sprezzatura is a good one, especially because it does take awhile to fully learn, understand, and put into use. I might just need a refresher on it, so I'll have to reread the article on the main site to see what I may have missed the first time around. And of course, Damon's eye expression is incredible. I've started using him as a model for my own facial expressions and eye expression. Facial expressions/eye contact is also very good for social circle and school when you can't always be as direct as you might want to be. Good suggestions, I'll have to keep working on my own expressions to get to the next level with them.

Thanks again!

Thanks for all the replies guys.

I took a few "Clothing Personality" quizzes online and my style seems to be "casual...." and I liked what I saw as well.
