If a woman refers to a man in her life to you by his title instead of his name, does it mean she is interested in you? For example:
- She said "A "friend" took me to Florida." In this case the friend is her boyfriend. When she got back she brought her photos to me and went through them. When she got to one of her in a bikini she asked me what I thought of her bikini? This was not a question about fashion. Why did she call him a friend?
- A different girl always refers to her husband as my husband instead of by his first name. I know him personally by first name. She gives me a lot of attention when he is not around. Why call him my husband?
- A lady at work who is pretty friendly but not quite flirtation with me, calls her husband, my husband. I don't know is name. Why not tell me his name and call him by his name?
I am looking for opinions on this. Does not using the person's name remove some of the personal nature of their relationship when addressing someone they are sexually interested in? Or is it just an easier way to call the person. Is this a possible indicator of interest or am I making something out of nothing?
