Hey all,

Question, the more I work on this stuff, the more I want to really nail down my fundamentals. So I want to put in more work on my smile, as basic as this sounds. I read chase's article on the topic but had a few questions.

1. Does anyone have anymore information about what a proper sexy smile should look like, it would really help to have more than just one example (in the article)?

2. When do you guys use the smile, or smiling in general? I've found that I have a tendency to have a little bit of a resting bitch face, and would like to smile more, but it feels forced and it would be good to have some feedback on when specifically to do it.

Thanks for the help,
Childish

P.S. I posted this to the beginners boards at first on accident and couldn't figure put how to delete it, so appologies for the repost!

When you are depressed and down, your face looks depressed and down, your eyes look to the ground. When you are anxious and nervous, your face shows anxiety and nervousness, your eyes are jumping around to different things or people. When you fear something, your face shows fear; you get all uptight, your heart is beating fast, you are sweating and you want to run away.

So relax, release all muscle tension around neck and shoulders, release all tension in your body, and release tension around your face. Relax and take relaxed slow breaths. Try to FEEL sexy and FEEL confident. Look into her eyes, look gently, don't stare and don't look away. Then simply smile. Your sexiness will also be reflected in your face.

Smile when YOU want to smile...

Hope it helps

Childish,

Smile whenever you approach anybody to lower their guard. I was guilty of approaching girl's and giving a dead facial expression and I noticed they got nervous really fast. Now that I smile I sometimes see them smile back and even if they don't smile they don't seem as nervous. Keep in mind the facial expressions you show as you go about your day. Don't walk with a bitchy sad face and talk to people; if you feel that way excuse yourself ( sometimes ) till you are feeling a lot more positive.

My technique to feel more relaxed is to look in the mirror and smile at different angles until it feels comfortable. It may feel awkward looking at yourself and smiling but over time that weirdness goes away. Do this everyday for 10 minutes and tell yourself " I'm a sexy guy ".

Awesome!

Thanks a lot for the great advice Drck and Troy. I think a lot of my facial expressions have to do with projecting anxiety (rather than confidence/sexiness) unfortunately, so that is definetely something I should change.

Anybody else have any comments/input?
