Hey all, hope you are all having a productive day or fruitful evening depending on when you are reading this! I usually don't post much in the Field Reports section because for the most part I believe I can figure out where I went wrong, but I'm trying to change that. With that being said, lets begin:
My two best friends who are dating (we will call them BF1 and BF2 for the sake of brevity) invited me out to catch a movie with them a week ago. BF1 said that one of her best friends whose name is Anne was coming up from college for the week and really wanted to meet me because of how much she hears about me. I thought that was cool, and before I left to go meet them at the movie theater, BF1 texted me and told me that Anne thought i was really cute, and I told her that was awesome and I was excited to meet her. So I go to meet them at the movie theater, and I arrive and buy my tickets. I was a few minutes early so I bought some candy and a drink and perused Facebook while waiting for them. They showed up and BF2 bought the tickets for him and his girlfriend and Anne. They walked in, and I got up from the bench I was sitting on, gave BF1 a hug bro fisted BF2 and then I stopped and looked at Anne for a second and smiled. Anne is a short girl about 5'4" a good few inches shorter than I am (surprisingly, I'm pretty short for a guy), long blonde hair, big boobs, and dressed to the nines. I was impressed, but I knew I shouldn't be too overt with my interest. So, I stuck out my hand and said "Hi my names Atlas, nice to finally meet you" with a wink. They get their tickets, drinks, and snacks and we walk into where our movie was.
At this point, BF1 and 2 sit next to each other so that means me and Anne are sitting next to each other. The commercials come on, and we all poke fun about how stupid some of the new movies look and such. After a while, a commercial comes on where some people are climbing Mt. Everest and an avalanche is coming. This movie was in 3D, so during the middle of the commercial I look over at Anne and I said "holy shit I feel like Im actually about ready to get hit by this avalanche." It wasn't anything too funny, but she found it absolutely hilarious, I knew laughing at things that aren't actually funny was a sign of interest so I was pretty encouraged. After the commercial, I looked over to her and said "I wonder what people would say if I put that on Facebook haha" she laughed, and I guess she didn't believe I'd do it because she almost died laughing when I put it on Facebook. From there the movie went on and every now and then I caught her glancing at me to see my reaction to a part of the movie she thought was funny or sad or whatever. I also noted in my head that this was a sign of interest as well. Occasionally on the high points of the movie, I would put my arm around her during a scary part or grab her hand. The movie ended and it was good, but not really a movie I would typically see so that was fun.
From there, me and the crew went out to AppleBees to get some half priced appetizers. We had to wait a few minutes, and at this point, my conversation with Anne wasn't extremely exceptional in any way. My two Best Friends tried to keep it going, but we were all pretty tired because of how late the movie was. We left AppleBees and went our separate ways for the night (much to my friends chagrin, they were really trying to get me and Anne together that night, but there was no where for me to isolate her to) but before we parted, I grabbed her number and told her that I would be at the college next to where she lives in about a week for New Student Orientation and I told her that we definitely need to get together. She was ecstatic and said that we definitely should.
We texted on and off for the next few days, I was basically trying to bide my time until I could see each other again with no real notable conversations other than these two:
Me: "yeah, I just moved about a week ago"
Her: "Oh cool, how do you like it?"
Me: "Its cool, but I hate having to listen to how (Rival school) is the best school around" (I moved far away from where I'm going to college)
Her: "So what do they say when you tell them you are going to (College that I will be attending)"
Me: "Well, no ones ever asked yet, but if they did I'd probably tell them that I'm not going to college and instead I'm going to pursue my dream career as an adult film producer, they'd respect me more haha"
Her: "Haha I'm seriously dying right now"
and the other one I don't remember too well because I was sort of drunk, but she was talking about inviting me over to swim when I get up to college and I told her that I would love to see her in a swimsuit because I think she would look sexy in one. Eventually I managed to get to send me one in a skimpy bikini and I sent her a shirtless pic, to which she said I looked super hot.
So for New Student Orientation (NSO) I go up in the afternoon one day to the college, learn about the college, stay overnight in a dorm, then wake up early in the morning to schedule classes. Originally me and Anne had planned to meet up during the evening when there is free time and every one is exploring the campus or chilling in their dorms. I arrived that day at noon and shot her a text that said "Hey I finally made it up to (college)! We need some plans to meet up
" From there we further solidified our plans to meet in the evening.
I went throughout the day, listen to all these boring ass lectures about how not to drink and how not to sexually assault someone, in which they basically wanted video and written consent to have sex. It sucked. So needless to say I was really looking forward to this date and didn't even pay attention to half of the lectures. I did try to talk to some of the girls and got two numbers, however. The lectures ended (thankfully) and it was around 9:15 PM and we were allowed to tour campus and go explore. I went to my dorm where I was assigned to stay for the night, met up with my temporary roomate, and threw some shit in my closet and left. We were supposed to meet up at an ice cream place on campus that everyone goes to and I got there a few minutes early and shot her a text telling her that I made it. She told me she was running a few minutes late and to chill on a bench until she got there (she knows the campus super well having lived right next to it, so we didn't need to communicate directions or anything too much). I saw her walk up and she ran over and hugged me and she told me how excited she was to see me. She asked what I had planned. At this point I'm thinking to myself "oh shit, I don't have anything planned, this is going downhill pretty quickly" So I looked at her, looked at the huge ass line leading into the ice cream place and said "well, we definitely aren't getting ice cream..." To that she grabbed my hand and we started walking around campus. It was nice because there were a lot of people at the ice cream place and the campus is huge so we were just walking and deep diving the entire time.
Eventually we found this little garden area with a bench that was pretty secluded and she suggested that we sit down. She was super interested and not hiding any of it, so I agreed and said sure even though it was getting kind of late. So we sat on the bench and I put my arm around her and pulled her close to me and she rested her head on my upper chest/shoulders. We still kept deep diving, her talking so much that I couldn't even keep up. It was honestly shocking for me. Usually I have to prepare questions for girls when I go on dates with them, but it was like the reverse. She was deep diving me more than I was deep diving her; and she was good too. It was like her conversations were sculpted from the movies, or from this website haha. She is extremely socially competent. Alarm bells went off in my head because I was worried that this might cause her to lose attraction but she preferred being the one asking the questions so I just continued. Eventually the conversation got increasingly more sexual and she told me to share a deep secret. I don't really keep secrets so I told her "I'm not really a secretive guy, but if you want me to tell a deep secret you're going to have to go first!" to that she said "I really want you to kiss me right now" I was more than happy to oblige. I grabbed the back of her head and we kissed a little, but I made sure to pull back first. When I did, she grabbed me and pulled me in for a pretty long make out. After this, I looked at my watch and told her that I had to go. I wasn't certain that I had to be back in my dorm that night or if I could go stay over Anne's house, but my group leader was a nervous little guy and I was afraid he would check on us in our dorms and freak out and lock down campus because I wasn't there. So even though Anne begged me to go sleep over her house with her, not so subtley suggesting we will have sex when we get there, I just didn't want to risk it. Plus she said her dads home and her dad is a police man or does something with law enforcement so I did not want to have to mess with him. We said our goodbyes and I texted her when I got to my dorm telling her I had a good time and that I wished I couldve stayed over her house, and she said that she had a good time as well and also wished I could've stayed. I was so close to writing an LR right now that I'm actually pretty upset writing this. I firmly believe that she wouldnt have put up any LMR and we just would've got straight to it, but oh well. Theres always next time. As always, if you guys have any criticism, think I did something particularly good or bad, or any advice in general I would greatly appreciate it!
