Just read one of Chase's article about social grace - "are social grace, savvy and empathy unmanly?" - https://www.girlschase.com/content/are-social-grace-savvy-and-empathy-unmanly
And this reminds me of his other article about how to be an asshole. In that article he talked about how politeness is used when you're with superiors and women aren't interested in subordinates. This confuses me a little because I thought social graces are about being polite...etc. Definition of social grace from wiki: Social graces are skills used to interact politely in social situations.
I would really appreciate it if someone could explain to me more on the difference between being socially graceful and being polite?
and can you be both socially graceful and polite without supplicating? and what's the right balance?
