I was reading a section in chases book on becoming a social strategist. so apparently in order to become a social strategist you go through the 1st phase which is social beginner. Where your more likely to lean in when talking to someone, or you'll be fidget your body while talking.

My question is when is it the the social beginner becomes the social strategist?

Well obviously this is a stupid question, because it is different for everyone. The learning curve from beginner to strategist differs wildly depending on things like how often you practice, the quality of advice you have read, how quick you are to learn and apply new information, how motivated you are to succeed etc etc. It doesn't matter how long it takes, if you want to become a social strategist spend less time concerning yourself with how long it is going to take and more time talking to real people, I promise you if you do this you will see results the quickest. Get out, and apply the stuff you know - learn, reapply - rinse and repeat.
