Pretty good pointers, although I don't agree with two of his caveats. The first one being that a girl needs to "smile" or "curl her lips" when you make eye contact with her. This is false. I've had girls who've given me the "cold shoulder look" end up warming up to me when I approached them later that night. If they're looking around the room, it means they're looking for guys. This is universal, regardless of her facial reaction.
The other pointer I don't agree with is that you shouldn't approach completely sober girls. There's nothing wrong with approaching a girl who is sober, although you better be quite sober yourself so that you can communicate well with her because girls are usually very wary of their own reputation (and hooking up with a drunk guy while she's not drinking doesn't bode well for her).
Other than that, I think his advice is actually pretty good. I like the "three girls" rule since I have noticed this as well -- approaching three girls seems to be more optimal than approaching a pair or a group.
