I have been visibly diagnosed with Molluscum.

It's not a big deal it's merely small painless pimples that heal after about 2-3 months by themselves without medication.

However they are contagious via skin contact.

I have them around the base of my cock and pubic region so a condom will not protect against spreading the virus.

I personally am not too upset that I have contracted this issue but I'm needing a little advice as to how I should continue my sexual escapades.

Is an STD with such small ramifications something that I should be worried about? Yeah it may cause a bit of unneeded damage but it's not something that's all to much of an issue.

My gut tells me I should avoid sexual contact and not engage in sexual activity but I believe I'm going to continue pimping hard and reach my seduction goals.

If it were an actual bad STD this would be a no brainer but since it's such not a big deal I'm thinking about saying fuck it, and taking the best precautions I can (condoms, natural remedies, avoiding as much skin contact as possible, not allowing her to give me head), and any wake I leave behind let the pieces fall where they may.

If I'm missing something here with my perspective shed some light as to where I may not be thinking about this right and I might reconsider my actions.

Rob,

If you haven't had it actually diagnosed by a physician, I'd recommend doing so (Too many people self-diagnose using the internet which is rarely a good idea). There's a chance it could be something else. If you have been to the doctor, I was under the impression there are some treatments available if it's in the genital region.

I'm certainly no expert on the subject, but I believe having Molluscum on your dick can increase your chances of catching another STD. Something you may want to consider if you do decide to continue having sex.

Hey bro, read this information, it comes from a reputable source.

My older 2 kids have it, so I was motivated to do a little digging. My ex-wife consulted a doctor and I also independently consulted a doctor and both said the same thing, do nothing, it's harmless, nothing can be done, it will disappear in a year or so. Yes, that's right, the bad news is it can last for more than a year.

I was really just wanting to check whether the virus lives in the skin (like herpes) or in the bloodstream... I don't see any information to indicate it's a permanent infection, so probably once you have antibodies in your bloodstream the thing goes away, and you become resistant to reinfection. The advice we received from the doctor was that the kids probably caught it from the swimming pool (they do lessons every week) and that it doesn't spread to adults because we've had it.

Based on the link above I might try better hygiene (keep my kids' towels separate and not share them) and make my kids have showers instead of baths, they won't like it but I guess I should try to prevent it spreading to further areas of my older kids' bodies and to my younger son. I'm surprised he hasn't caught it.

Anyway, in answer to your question, I do not think you should be gaming as normal if there are spots on/around your genitals, I know that it's tough to think about having no sex and putting your goals aside, but hopefully with the advice in the above link, you might be able to get things back to normal quicker than you think.

Whilst the spots are apparently harmless and the infection is not permanent, and a goodly percentage of the girls you're proposing to lay will probably be immune to it, it will still cause a lot of anxiety and inconvenience to anyone who catches it, and I think that's not a good way to repay someone's trust in sleeping with you.

Hey thanks for the replies gentlemen.

Yes I have been to the doctor and he visually examined me and told me.

I'm definitely going to research treatments whether doctoral or home remedies to speed up the process.

@Ray I appreciate your perspective and the extensive answer you gave me. I'm going to reread this and the link you posted later when I have time.

Rob,

If you don't want to spread it, you could also use this as a good excuse to experiment with abstinence. No sex, no masturbation, etc. It's actually a good way to strengthen your willpower and improve your concentration in the long run, if you're currently used to getting off regularly. I've tried it, and it's actually pretty tough to do. Not so great if you're in a relationship though. That's how my streak ended -- met a girl who I wanted to (and did) make my gf.

If you don't want to go that route, you can play it maximally safe when you do have sex, to make it unlikely they'll get it too. Some things to do:

-Always wear a condom
-Extend time spent in foreplay. This way, you can reduce the amount of time you're having penetrative sex with women without seriously reducing their enjoyment. Less penetration means a reduced risk of spreading the disease to your new friend.
-Use carrageenan lube (good for preventing the spread of HPV, and I imagine it will help with molluscum too)

You could also experiment with monogamy for the next few months as well -- stick with fucking just one girl (who is aware of the risk), so you aren't spreading this all over the place.

@ Radeng

I read Chase's article last night on "The Civilized Man" and I have to say I'm going to continue pimping hard despite and let the pieces fall where they may. I'm going to take every precaution I can to prevent it but I'm still continuing on with my growth.

If it were more threatening to one's health I'd reconsider my actions but for something as small as this I think some girl would be more happy to risk catching the virus and have an amazing and rare opportunity to leave their boring lives behind and adventure with me than not get that opportunity at all.

@ Howell

Regarding abstinence I've done that successfully twice for up to 40 days on my longest stretch. Definitely hard but not something I'm all too caring about at this point in my life.

Appreciate the input though mate.

Rob, I had the same thing last year even though I used a condom. I got it around the pelvic area and fingers a month after having sex with a certain girl. I got diagnosed at the Dr.'s and she said it spreads by skin-to-skin. HPV are what cause other non-skin problems, but only in women. The Dr. said Molluscum is not technically an STD, but a skin condition that even small kids get (even on their hands).

The Dr. told me to avoid trimming the pubic area because the Molluscum may spread. I didn't want to go tribal and cleaned the trimmers with rubbing alcohol before and after use.

Once the signs came up, I went to the Dr. and she applied a chemical to the Molluscum spots. After a few days, the areas became dark and started to scab. The Dr. said I could wait 6 mo for the Molluscum to disappear OR get the treatment and risk scaring. Lucky for me, the Dr. was very careful and permanent scaring did not occur. A couple months after treatment, I freaked out because here were "craters" near my pelvic region, but the skin grew back.

You can get treatment at a planned parenthood, wait a week or two, then boom go pimping again!

I had this a year ago, got rid of it in 2 weeks because my doctor kicks ass. Ask your doctor for Condylox gel. It's basically skin poison used for warts. Rub that shit on the spots twice a day for 3 days, then stop and let it heal the rest of the week. Repeat until gone. Honestly I would abstain from sex because 2-3 weeks of using this gel really isn't that long of a time.

You might not have even gotten it from a girl, you can get that shit from anything.

If you feel you must continue having sex with it, some tips are: Use Divine 9 lube with carageenan (should help prevent spread), and grow your pubic hair out. Pubic hair exists to hinder the spread of skin transmitted STDs.
