NOTE: I like to write whatever happens to me when I think is kinda entertaining and complements whatever I will ask later (make some context). It's just me
If you just want to answer my queries go to the bottom of the post. Look for the big-bold font.
Some may have already read some posts where I said I was having troubles approaching. Yesterday on a party I actually approach, although, not that much – the good thing is I did
–. The bad thing is I didn't approach more because I only did it when a girl came near me and was alone (surely, she separated from her group). It sucks because usually girls are with their friends and I'm not prepared to engage a group of girls or mixed ones (boys and girls). I'll do a post about this to get some insights. Well, to the actual post!
First Girl:
Today I was kinda pump that I finally approach. While walking I saw a girl and I instantly thought: You have to talk to her. It was great having this feeling of pushing myself again (I have actually talked to girls on the street before but I lost my mojo, jeje, so I was stuck again with my problem of approaching –anywhere). I followed her and position myself to come from the opposite direction (so she sees me pass her). I didn't look until the last second before I actually pass her and we made a brief eye contact. Then, I just turned around (she went to a shopping store), pre-open her and used a direct opener. Since opening she was really receptive. I asked for her number. After talking a couple of minutes she ended up giving me her facebook when I told her I had to buy a new phone because I had just lost mine. She was like: I can't believe I'm giving you all my info. (I don't know why I didn't keep hanging with her, I had nothing to do. Whatever, it doesn't matter. I will definitely see her again and it gave me the opportunity to talk to other girls)
Second Girl:
I was really pumped so when I saw other one I went after her, pre-open her and used a direct opener (she hadn't seen me before, the first time was when I pre-open her at the store). She had a look kind of a mixture between surprise and serious. She said thank you, was polite, but still somewhat seriuos and started to go. I just left (she was from other country. Her spanish had an accent).
Third Girl:
Then I saw other one. We were walking on opposite directions. We made eye contact and it was longer than it should have been. I turned after 8 seconds (I had doubts). She was going to enter to an ATM so I kinda stop, didn't know what to do (I guess I should have walked towards the ATM anyway, stand outside and wait for her to come out and talk to her) and saw me there (we even made eye contact from the distance). I just walked in that direction and left because I felt opening her was not gonna be like a surprise. I felt she felt like I was following her.
The things I want to know are:
• I was wondering if you think is always better to talk to a girl if she has already seen you (I'm talking about street and daytime game because on nighttime game they are open to meet people). On the street, I feel they kinda think: "That guy I just saw has taken his time to talk to me, he turn around for me". On the other hand, I she never sees you, she might think: "Why is he talking to me?". What do you think about this? Should they see you before? It really doesn't matter?
• What should we do when a girl is kinda cold on the street (second girl)? I'm really positive about myself with my looks. Feeling like that about myself is really great for me because, whatever happens, I always think is something wrong about my game ("I have to work on this!") or an issue with her (she has a boyfriend, she is married, she doesn't want to talk to no one, etc.). I know I have to be unfazed to her emotions, but... should I persist on the street? It is hard because she can just start walking (on a bar, even if you are the uglier guy in the world is hardly possible that she will just leave the moment you open her). What should we do?
• How should we "follow" a girl. The third girl I wanted to talk, saw me and I thought like she knew I turned for her (because we made eye contact longer than usual and before she entered the ATM). I felt like she was thinking that I was following her (there was no way she thought I was gonna talk to her. It's not common) so that's why I wasn't comfortable opening her. Wouldn't have been a surprise to talk to her. When a girl has seen you before (like walking on opposite directions), how can I turn to follow a girl and not look like following her? Or if she happens to turn around and we made eye contact (an had seen me before) should I do like a gesture to make her know I have to tell her something? (Like the hand gesture that kinda means 'one moment': http://bit.ly/XVBTly). If she has seen me, when following her maybe we should avoid making eye contact from afar before we actually talk to her?
Thanks!
