Hi members, I'm 40 and lost hair due to male pattern baldness. Was thinking to go for transplant however my understanding is that I will have to live on medicines thereafter that can affect my fertility. Is that true? Please share your suggestions.
I know that you have to be on meds for specific duration post surgery however need clarity if it's going to be long term thing.

I just shaved it all. Luckily I had a good head shape and all, I carry it well.
But yeah have heard that medication stuff too. ALSO is kind of a no going back thing. Even Joe Rogan was saying it and he's ultra wealthy. Once you get transplants, you might thin out even more and transplants won't work eventually. So then if you do shave it, you have scars and shit on bald head.
Can get too messy and weird looking for all the money in the world to save. Lot of guys wish they just shaved and let it go sounds like.

In my case it's tough to say. I mean i've been in this over 2 decades. Having sex since I was 15 or 16, in game since 18, now 43.
Hair has went from long thickest hair you ever seen, being half mexican and half white, to now shaved.
Even had it shaved when I had full head of hair at times just experimenting, hell I had a just for comedy skullet once.
I get laid more consistent with less effort now than say when I was 25, but that's better tech and more experience id say than women liking my bald head. (edit: which by the way guys rarely get opened with "let me run my fingers through your hair" haha, but once in a blue moon get "can I rub your head?" when bald)
I tend to have sex with younger women as well just as a preference and Nevada being low age of consent.
I was never even as a teen though running around getting hook ups on my cool hair or looks. I always needed an edge game wise, be it gift of gab, charisma, social circle etc.
It's really a toss up though. Only 100% advantage is not spending any time styling it or washing it. Point being kind of an "Justin Beiber would maybe be well off trying plugs, transplants, restoration, but Steve Austin, it'd be just putting perfume on a pig"
It depends on your look and style, I mean if you are full prettyboy, might be worth the battle, but your look is geek to tough guy to thug or athlete? Your game is gonna matter a hell of a lot more.
