An interesting weekend. Ten approaches, one phone number.

Trying so hard not to get discouraged by my lack of progress. Each month this year I have taken more action, and got progressively better results. But I am nowhere close to where I want to be, I am not progressing fast, and I’m hitting the point where my old self would just give up and settle in with one of my FBs. I have to push through this and not give up.

The weather has been bad for months and I think that’s effecting me. Summer is right around the corner, and there will be more women out and about. I am actually able to get numbers now, and I no longer have freeze-up nights. Anyone else feel like the plateaued, and if so, what did you do to stay motivated?

Anyways, on to the good stuff…

My goal this st pattys weekend was to approach 25 women. I’m sitting at ten currently, so in the 2.5 free hours I have tomorrow there is some work to be done. But the approaches have been good thus far. I’ve gone mostly situational, with a couple semi-direct (I really like your style/that’s the cutest hair I’ve seen today). The semi direct got better initial reactions, but the conversations burned out fast. The situational openers led to at least longer conversations.

My best one (where I got the number) is as follows:

I went and stood next to a table with two girls.
JT: hey… I’m not stealing your spot am I?
Girls: oh no, you’re fine!
JT: good, I don’t want your boyfriends to come back and try to beat me up (playful smile)
Girls: haha no you’re so good!
JT: you guys enjoying the night?
Girls: yeah we’re waiting for this guy to bring us back drinks
JT: oh that’s awesome! Sounds like a very nice guy. He must think you're really cute… Btw I like your necklace (turned to one, reached out and touched her necklace a little)

At this point necklace girl starts telling me about her necklace. I’ve entered one on one conversation. The guy returns with the drinks, I give him a friendly head nod then keep talking to my girl as he talks to the other one.

We exchange names, she asks me where I’m from blah blah. She’s actually a stripper at the same club my long ago ex worked at, so we talked about that for a while. I could tell she was trying to run her stripper game on me, but I held my frame hard as some sexy aloof guy that could give less of a fuck that she was some hot stripper. Been there, done that.

Found out they’ve been friends for a while, other girl actually likes the guy and they’ve been out a few times but never had sex. He had left again, so I told the friend that she needed to have sex with him tonight. I said that two people can feel a connection, but until they’ve explored it sexually, you can’t actually know how real that connection is, and I would hate for her to catch feelings for a guy that couldn’t satisfy her sexual desires.

Other girl says “I haven’t had sex in three weeks!” Stripper says “I haven’t had sex in six days”. I said “I had sex four hours ago… I’m kind of a man whore”. They both just looked at me. “I have a really high sex drive and I go for what I like” I said. It was true after all, and I learned from my last OLD lay that being blunt honest about my love for sex, multiple partners etc actually pumped up her attraction for me. If a really hot girl told you she had sex a lot and loved experimenting with different people, would you quit talking to her? I wouldn’t…

Things got more touchy after this, we talked social dynamics a bit and they shared some stories of how “creepy guys try to approach them”, as if it’s so awful, and I didn’t approach them 20 mins ago

Found out me and the stripper work out at the same gym. Asked if she wanted to be my workout buddy sometime, she said yes. Pulled up the number pad on my phone and handed it to her. She put in her number. We’ve been texting a bit since then and plan to meet up soon.

Also funny story, the guy the other girl liked… I’ve seen him out multiple times recently, macking on other girls. Definitely one of us. I hope I helped him get a lay

Going hard tomorrow, and not giving up. I am having fun, I will keep progressing, I got this!

Nice when you run into people that are doing the same thing. I wish I had that where I’m at but instead people look at me like I’m committing a crime when I do DG. Are you in the USA?

It’s been quite the week. Went to a daytime St Pattys day event that I didn’t even know existed… and my goodness was it fun. Just three approaches there but two went really well, one had a boyfriend but still talked to me for a while even with the boyfriend standing idly by. And I was initially hesitant to approach.. but this was by far the hottest girl at the place, so proud of myself for doing it.

Three DG approaches between then and this weekend. All three opened and were super friendly. Im still falling into the trap of not showing intent during DG, probably because I am enjoying the set and not wanting to fuck it up. I need to be willing to fuck it up if it means getting what I want.

This Thursday I finally went on a date with gym girl who I canceled on early February. It was insanely fun, I could not secure the lay (I think she was on her period) but she did give me a wicked blowjob at the end and we’ve made plans to see each other again. Will post an LR soon while it’s still fresh in my mind.

Tonight was an absolute dumpster fire of a night game outing. I talked to a ton of people, guys and girls, but all felt very surface level. I think I’ve been going to the same places too much… ran into two girls that I am not interested in both trying to follow me around. The local coke dealer also following me around (I don’t do drugs, but now he recognizes me. Yay.) it’s still kind of cold out and my favorite patio is under construction. I left early.

I’m getting the reps in, I’m finally getting results, but going to the same bars over and over doesn’t feel fun anymore… and per the laws of state transfer if I’m not having fun. she’s not having fun. Is it summer yet??

When you say not showing intent during DG, what do you mean? Are you not doing a direct opener?

I only do direct during DG and what I love about it is its pretty clear from the get-go what type of interaction it is. They can choose to leave if they want, but if they stay they know and chat they know what's up.

Exactly that. I think at some level there is still some AA so I find it easier to open indirectly then banter and start flirting. But I know I'm shooting myself in the foot, because if I get to the point early on, she will either be really down for it or not. Girls aren't dumb, they know why I'm talking to them

It is finally getting warm out so I will have a lot more opportunity to get good in the daytime

Been ages since I posted, been dealing with a major family crisis and sadly I am the only one in my family who is not of retirement age and is assertive enough to hold shit together. It's taken up a lot of my time, but I got things solved for the most part and now I am ready to get back to gaming.

Prior to tonight I did six daygame approaches this month. Really just trying to keep my skills up. Best one was at the DMV, believe it or not. It was busy and I was sitting down, sandwiched between four girls and a guy. I started talking to all of them - started with a couple jokes then actually got them invested into my life/passions etc. The girls were mesmerized. Two of the girls were married, but one was single (and I got her number!! and she was fuckin cute too), and the guy was actually pretty cool to talk to. I think my casual daygame skills are improving tenfold.

Tonight was my first foray back into night game. Started at the country bar. Chock full of hotties who are not the girls I grew up talking to, so I still feel a bit weird there. I opened a two set right away and another single. Both interactions positive but didn't go anywhere sexual. I think in this setting going forward I need to be more bold/polarizing and be willing to blow it out.

Next went to the hip hop club I've had some decent luck with previously. Opened a group of 8 girls to start, then a single who was a stripper (WHY do I always end up talking to strippers??) she was trying to run her stripper game on me but I shut it down and we actually had a great conversation about social dynamics and the nuances of the city. We were both touchy and flirty but taking that with a grain of salt.

Next opened a group of two very cute black girls by making a joke about what they were saying to each other, one laughed hysterically and got interested right away (she was very touchy after) but the other dragged her away. I opened a girl in the bathroom line, and opened another by the (very dead) dance floor.

Glad I was able to come out rusty as hell and talk to a bunch of women, but I need to be better than this. I have a lot of ideas on how to make things more sexual/polarizing at night that I will field test and report back about. Day game just keeps getting easier, but now I am down to one occasional FWB so that might be the zone I find myself in for a while as I need to get at least one more on rotation. IDFK, it's good to be back.

Mixing it up a bit. While I continue to improve, I want to put more emphasis on having fun and getting results. My goal last weekend was to do simply that - have fun and go for results. Not just try and play the best technical game I could.

I switched up my clothing style a bit and I think it worked well. More aligned with gen z trends - I’m a millenial so I can pull it off, albeit it’s not what I grew up dressing like. Will probably get way more in depth on experimenting with fashion as we progress into summer. I have some ideas already

Approached 4 women, one being in a large group where I got to know the whole group and bantered quite a bit with them. I was easily accepted, but they weren’t fully invested. Was getting there tho, and if I can get better at challenging/leading they would have been. Had a fucking blast and got to Mack on some really, really attractive women who I felt genuinely enjoyed vibing with me. Lots of little things I could have done better but that wasn’t my focus.

I have the fundamentals. I know the theory. Now I need to actually have fun with it, experiment, and go for some results.
