Just looking to get some tips and advice on ways to pick up women/get numbers while surfing. Its seems like a bit of a unique situation, but I realized it was easy to open women while waiting for waves. Iv read the beach post and most of the other posts and for me seems like good place to start picking up women. I spend a lot of my extra time at the beach surfing and often a lone, now that summer is here almost here. A lot of the places I surf have lessons so there's always a lot of new women out learning/taking lessons on top of all the women just at the beach.
I found that after talking to a couple women others would often open me when I was done talking. I used a few different openers I found a few seemed to work the best like: "how have the waves been" "do you know what time it is"(if iv been out awhile. Or if we went for the same wave something like "we must have the same taste in waves". Conversations are as far as iv gotten so far. Progressing past that just seem odd to me when you far away from the shore, same with asking for numbers. Is this something that's just in my head? After reading the posts on the site I see where I went wrong in past. But looking for more ideas to try or maybe it's just a bad idea to pick women while surfing?
