I think I've always liked human interaction, meeting new people and talking in general. Recently it hit me that whenever I converse with people I have this tendancy to talk about myself. When I asked my friends about it they kind of agree. I've been thinking about it and read some of the articles related to coversation here, but I can't wrap my head about how to do this. Do you stay more passive during conversation? How do you keep turning the conversation back to them?

Now I know that a lot of this comes down to practice. But I just can't put my finger on what I should focus on/avoid during conversation.

Maybe a bit sidetracked from this topic, but still something I could use some help on . I've exchanged a few text with a girl I met at a party last week. She complied to setting something up, but after a week she still hasn't responded yet. Personally I think it's probably for the best but I might be wrong on this. A more detailled analysis can be found in the field report section : https://boards.girlschase.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5318&p=25299#p25299

If like you say... you like human interaction and meting new people... then you should naturally be "Curious" about them too.
That's the key word.

Be genuinely Curious about the woman you are talking too, and keep directing the questions / topic back at them - " So how about yourself?"

Its the essence of Deep Diving.
