Texting Back and Response Times; Is it a Contest?

I've written about how I have extreme anxiety (to the point of becoming neurotic about girls responding to me or not responding "Well"), needless to say this lost me countless women. Now that I'm on the right medication I'm feeling a million times better and sometimes I'm seeing that I take hours or even days to respond to the girls that I'm seeing (sometimes I just don't feel like texting back or I'm busy with work or working out etc.).

This has seemed to help a lot! The only thing I've noticed is that when I take longer to respond, they take longer to respond (like they're trying to outdo me or something lol), are they just matching my texting style in order to seem more busy?

Also, I know persistence pays off but when you've already been seeing someone/sleeping with them; you shouldn't ever need to text again yes? (Even after a day of radio silence or w/e), she got your text and if she wants to be with you; it's not that hard to be with you!

I've been trying to live by the rule that anything over text/social media is chasing and persistence only applies in person.

I don't think I've ever had a problem with auto rejection (unless the girl was butt ugly lol, I'm working on my value first), but I'm hoping that's not what this new texting style I have leads too.
