Have you read the articles on text game? I would recommend those if you have doubts about how to text.

I read in another article that if she texts/replies with just a couple words or a smiley, it's okay to ignore it. Only if she replies with a bit more, should you reply as it means she might want to continue talking, since she's investing more by writing more.

...she ignored text....I called her..yesterday ..she didn't answer....I called her today and asked her out......she said its too short notice...(I don't think she is busy)...I think we are at a level where she would meet for a date only if she was in town already and I showed up there....man thinking I just take my lesons and move on....no ball in your court ...no nothing

"It's too short notice" sounds like code for "it's too soon/early for us".

Some times you just gotta wait for her to be in the right mood, but it's a gamble.
