The Power of Pre Opening

Just watch the first 30 seconds or all of it if u like

Was just watching youtube videos and came across this video and first thing what popped into my head was The Power of Pre Opening

In the first few seconds you can see the performer not singing but just playing the guitar which is different considering it was a singing show and it created suspense and created intrigue which can be noticed by one of the judges.

And at 28 or so seconds when he starts singing due to his pre opening the judges reactions where heightened.


Feel free to share some useful ways of pre opening or share experiences in which you have used pre opening all is much appreciated

I like this video.

I see two elements going on:
-You can tell he is really skilled by the way he handles his guitar can you can also tell he is holding back. And when he unleashes it, it just hits you stronger than starting with everything he has.
-You are trying to figure out what the hell is going on, thus creating mystery.

To be honest, I don't think I've ever pre opened, or if I did I can't think of a time.

Aside from pre opening, this dude has some real motherfucker edge. I hope that I can make people feel the same way I'm feeling right now when they see me in the near future
