I experimented with ashwanganda for a while, and it definitely gave me all the effects of high testosterone (raging boners, high energy, deeper voice), but then stopped it when I read about the potential side effects from prolonged use. I actually met a guy who developed some quite serious health conditions from what he suspected was too much ashwaganda use.

Yes. I think with good sleep, exercise and balanced diet, it's not necessary to supplement for testosterone unless you really do have clinically low levels (in which case it's probably a deficiency in something)
i did the same including avena sativa, and other herbs..... It worked for a while then stop working.....

Agree on T being key to seduction. The main downside I see with exogenous T, is that you deprive your body and brain of context-sensitivity.

So for a regular guy with great T, he'd have a huge spike in activity related to seduction or sex, but then also the option to properly downregulate the levels after cumming. Chronic elevation of T, blocks a lot of pairbonding receptors and thus has some association with psychopathic behavior. But I'd probably consider TRT if I had low levels.

The only person I saw do high-levels of T up close, kind of crashed his life by making some reckless decisions, and then became dependent upon it for his way of life.
most psychopathic people i met are seducers hands down, none of them on trt.... How you explain that....

trust me, they make psychopaths look like saints

Please re read those studies...

In the first one read the first paragraph... were it says no evidence...

In the second one is talking about steroids..

In the 3rd one talks about autist...

Nice try brah!! Trt is taking your level to when you were younger...

So if t is 300 snd when you were younger was 1k that is all you are doing...

Find out what is testosterone replacement therapy... Then meet people that are on it... No steroids, no super natural levels... Optimal levels when you were in your teens...

When my t levels were low I was super angry... have you heard the term grumpy old man... usually due to low t..

For 1. I invite anyone to read the abstract themselves if they want.

For 2. Right, testosterone IS an anabolic steroid. If you read my original post I wrote about the potential downsides of "exogenous T".

For 3. I'd let people read themselves. It's common in biomed papers to tie theory to helping conditions, e.g depression, autism and schizophrenia in this one. But your point doesn't make sense, it's a review paper about oxytocin, T, and social cognition hence the title.

But honestly, if TRT works great for you Skills that's awesome. As for your anecdote about low T, I completely agree. Low T for me is miserable. Listen, I love when people want to debate, so feel free to have at it. But correct me if I'm wrong, I don't get the sense you care about the scientific details that much.
