I matched with a moderately attractive girl on Tinder and I messaged her with something like "you seem up for an adventure". She responded with "I'd like to take an adventure on your body" with some suggestive emojis. I start arranging logistics with her and get her number. She texts me the explicit things she would do to me and I love it so I played along. And then it turns out that her and her friend were just screwing around with me, with no intention of ever meeting. I am very fucking pissed. What makes her think it's fucking okay to screw with me like that?! I barely get enough matches as it is! What makes her think it's okay to make me look like a fool?! This kind of shit makes me want to give up on online dating again. Even though online dating is really my only option for sex since I my approach anxiety is crippling. No idea what to learn from this other than most girls don't take online dating seriously at all.

Yeah I've been played with too dude. A lot of girls just use Tinder to fuck around, just like a lot of them use it to boost ego, meet friends, or simply because they're bored. Not everyone who's on Tinder is looking to date/fuck.

Since your AA is crippling right now, see what you can do to lower the amount of anxiety you're experiencing (meditating, saying hi to people in passing, talking with strangers in line, etc.).

Unless you're stuck on an uncharted island, there's never only one source for sex or meeting girls. (In my experience, you're not gonna find many quality girls on Tinder that are dtf anyways. They're there, no doubt, but you'll get better faster by exploring other outlets).

But what you can learn is to not take it personally as each girl has her own agenda and whether is matches yours is down to luck.

You've just got to remain persistent and approach it objectively because the girl's behaviour may not relate to you personally. The girl you've described has probably done the same to dozens of other males for self amusement, so what does that say about her?
