I found this tinder text game sample on a PUA group.
Now this is supposed to be a difficult girl to close.
However when I see the responses of the guy it just seems to be negatively framing the girl in order to trigger her and make her qualify.
(The entire group’s ideology is to negatively framing women to trigger them and gain compliance or chasing)

What are your thoughts on this kind of game? (It does seem easier to put outright negative frames rather than playing around with the frame)

I guess it can work but I have seen that style backfire so easily and end up in confrontational frames with girls.

As you know, confrontational frames rarely lead to anything good.

This is a conversation that went well… I wonder how many of conversations went wrong before getting this one.

In my opinion it's a very poor game. I used to do this and it only leads to conflict, constant arguments from both sides trying to prove they are right.

It's basically overcompensation for not knowing too much. Fake it till you make it type of mentality. False confidence.

This becomes apparent pretty fast.

Listen, when it comes to texting on apps here's your formula:

1) icebreaker that's easy to respond to (I won't be sharing mine)
2) question about her schedule or a tease on what she said
3) tease or a question depending on the previous message
4) ask her if she's ever been to blank before (where you'd like to take her on a date)
5) compliment/qualifier on something she has said about herself. Tell her you should go to blank. Ask her for her schedule

All you need. Give her your number after you've got it scheduled and tell her to text you so that you have each others' number. Or you can tell her to send you hers if you prefer to do it that way, doesn't actually matter

The texting does come off try hard almost to the point that the guy is butt-hurt and argues with girl to create frame.

As a side note. I hope you don't assume that this girl was closed. It's not even clear whether she actually came to see him. It's only clear that she AGREED to see him, not that she SHOWED UP.

That’s a good thing to ponder.

The reason I mention this is because, in my experience, the less attractive a girl is the more likely she is open to stay in confrontational sets.

I am not sure if that is because they get hit mostly by uncalibrated guys + they’re a little short of options but you can keep some unproductive frames going very long with these girls so long these frames are “funny”.
They just give you more leeway to lack of calibration.

Yeah, it’s basically a neg.

It is a useful technique but so easy to overdo… and a lot of guys tend to get hooked on the reactions that they end up using it as bread and butter… which in turn makes your interactions unpredictable.

In American football parlance this is the equivalent of throwing Hail Maries through all the game.
