An excellent texting tactic used by our very own NarrowJ when dealing with low investment bait from a girl and how to counter it. Also his thoughts and explanation on why it works: (Hope you don't mind NJ, this is a brilliant move to use when texting girls)

Two full weeks later (this past Sunday) I get a text from her. It’s one word: “Hey!” Girls do this all the time. So fellas, here’s what she wants to accomplish with that text. It’s the least amount of investment on her part, so if I don’t respond she won’t feel too bad about it. Also, 99 percent of guys will respond to a text like that with some explosion of happiness. She’s probably used to seeing a response like: “Omg! How are you? So cool to hear from you, HBRockerChick! What’s been going on in your life?” Although, a lot of the more socially in-tune guys might respond to the one-word “Hey!” text with something like “Hey you Whatcha doing?” But, that text plays again right into her hands because now you’re on the offensive. She wanted something when she texted you, but now the tables are turned instantly. You might have just as well texted her first. So, how did I respond? Here’s the texts:

Her: Hey!
Me: ?

I countered her low-investment bait text with a simple question mark. Now, I’m the socially aware person here because I realize that she texted me because she wants something or wants to talk about something. She texted me for some reason, but didn’t give the reason. Sending the single question mark back to a girl that sends you a “Hey!” message does a few things:

Tells her that the communication was unexpected.
Shows her you’re not ready to engage in conversation until you know the topic is something worthwhile.
Keeps you both on the track of her chasing you with the texts.
Prompts her to actually explain what it is she wants.

Note: Heartiste says to drop her off at her house and walk away without saying much towards the end of the date. I disagree, as you know moving fast is key in any seduction so getting her to your place is the better option in order to fuck her that same night. Thus, the first part of the article is very good advice, for the last part, Chase's well known advice is what seals the deal.

I am going to disagree with the majority of this thread. Roissy has a reputation of being a political wanker and even a racist often attracting like minded sexually frustrated men to his blog. ROK tends to write clickbait articles which deal more with gender relations than game. Some of that stuff posted on this thread is cheesy and will get you friendzoned. I cannot take most of this material seriously.

Don't. Most of this stuff is not for guys who are afraid of losing one girl they've met or brooding over how to get her back. It's for guys who are not afraid of losing girls and learning to flip the tables on them to become a good seducer. Less is more in game/seduction, if you cannot grasp such a concept I am afraid you need more experience with women. Some of the advice posted here has worked for me or others I've met in the past. If you disagree with most of this thread then post some of your examples on shit tests, IHABF, texting, and body language so we can all benefit from your wisdom. If not, refrain from knocking examples you have never attempted or have experience with in the field, OK buddy

It is unfair for me to criticize a piece of advice without first giving my view on it and what worked for me. I have followed Roissy's blog before and though some of his stuff is legit (commandments of poon), I still believe that his site is poisonous for the mind of a young guy getting into the game. What I believe in is the bigger picture, making yourself the catch rather than gimmicks like this. Once you are the catch or the "20 percent man" as some call it, you can mostly say whatever you want during texts and she will be hooked. My game was much tighter years ago than it is now but the quality of women I get now has dramatically increased. I have read all this red pill, manosphere, and PUA stuff and it was like caffeine to me. You name it, Rollo's SMV chart and his blog (which in retrospect had great information on it) to many others.

Temporarily I felt great, felt like I was the king of world because I had this knowledge of game but then I realized it doesn't really work. If a girls is not into you, then she is just not into you. Once she is into you, all you have to do is not mess up and that is the kind of stuff the material Chase promotes can help you with.

I believe in the investment, that in order to get an 8, you have to be an 8. Luckily as a man your value is not dependent on looks alone, it depends on other factors. All these gimmicks you show in this thread, they are just PUA in its simplest forum. It is not going to make a frustrated guy that has little experience with hot girls get hot girls. I believe in building the better man through a lifestyle.

- Hit the gym
- Better clothing
- Talking to people and socializing
- Joining awesome activities

Some of those replies in McQueen's posts were cringeworthy, like with when are you taking me to dinner:

You aren't seriously going to send that reply to a girl are you? No one says "doll" anymore man, this isn't the 50s or 60s.

As for my experience with the manosphere and red pill community, most of those guys are full of too much anger and frustration for me to believe they are landing quality girls. Reading most of that stuff turned me into an actual misogynist and made me hate women, something that Chase preaches against. Not to mention Matt Forney did a post on the Manosphere calling out the entire community and exposing it, that guy was one of the biggest names in the Manosphere.

@ PA- I'm not pushing for just one mindset in seduction. I'm posting this so you can blend it with what works for you and what Chase advocates here. As for McQueen, the man is going for 8's + from the club. You can imagine the bitch shields and entitlement these girls have just for having a pussy right? If you don't like the thread, fine don't post on it and leave it at that or post legit examples. As i have said before, these mindsets are not for everyone but you cannot deny when a girl cheats, plays, strings you along ,the advice posted is a slap to the face because it accurately states what you did wrong. Besides, if it helps guys understand and improve themselves with women, i did my part because sometimes a second opinion is needed to diagnose a problem.

@Marty- betabait- something a less experienced man with women takes as a positive sign he is doing well with a girl but could possibly be something a girl says or does for favors or attention while she secretly likes or fucks an Alpha Male without a beta male knowing. Post an example if this is vague...

Here is the truth about club game, most of it is not done at the club. I have tried many nights to go to the club and pull, you might get lucky every now and then but other than that it is not how it works. A lot of it is done in the pre and after parties. Girls usually fuck the guys they came with, it's weird but that is how it works.

This is a better source of information, I know what this guy looks like and he has videos of him running game on attractive. I would rather take advice from this dude than the ones on this thread because he has proven himself to me through his approaches.

Good Looking Loser? Not bad. He talks too much for my taste but is legit as i have seen his stuff on youtube. Reputed to run asshole/aloof game though by some members on RVF forum, ironically what Heartiste also runs... Oh and Mystery hooked up with chicks in clubs not pre and after parties. And that makes us different from the run of the mill PUA forum how? Most of the advice posed on this thread is bullshit and I know it from personal experience and having tried it. It goes Chase's "lover of women" mentality and is the exact opposite of it. I hate this kind of shit. There should be no "take it or leave it", this forum is supposed to help out young men with their problems not poison their minds with writings from an openly racist writer (Roissy). I will stand by statement and caution every young guy in here too, most of this advice is bullshit and cheesy.

To me it seems like rather than giving good advice you are just marketing some blogs to people in order to get those blogs more of a following.

By the way I am not that old, I am only 38. The issue is that it wasn't until my mid-30s that I realized how dependent my happiness was on having an abundance of women. I got married at 26 and I figured a hot wife would do me just fine, stupidly disregarding the fact that I had never managed to remain true to a single previous girlfriend even though the relationships were less than a year long.
