Tonight is only the beginning

Hello everyone!

Tonight I go out on the town for the first time in donkey's years. I'm 35 years old and completely inexperienced with women; though I find it easy enough to hold conversations with people I've never had the guts to take the initiative with women before, mostly due to self-conciousness about my weight. I've been hugely overweight for most of my life and it really affected my self-esteem all the way through my adolescence and early adulthood, but I've been losing weight recently (down to 14.5 stone from18 stone) and now I can look in the mirror wearing clothes that actually fit me and see a man who's on his way to respectable. I've been out walking 5 times a week and when I get paid I'm joining a gym to build up some muscles and create a body to be proud of.

To be honest, I avoided reading PUA material for a long time because I swallowed the popular misunderstanding that it was all about magic tricks, funny hats, negging and manipulating girls' self esteem, but after looking at a variety of programs I've found a lot of useful advice about becoming an attractive man/inner game stuff that has really fired up my enthusiasm.

Tonight I'm off out to a meetup of like-minded strangers in a club and, after reading many of the posts on this amazing blog I've decided to concentrate on using my body language to project confidence and sexuality and have a damn good time. I don't expect to get any instant results tonight but if I can meet new people and approach a few women It'll be a great start; after all, every journey starts with a single step.

You definetly have the mindset bro! Congratulations on your weight loss and new mindset! Hope it all goes well and you learn something. Just rember, the only difference between the master and the student, is that the master has failed more times than the student!

Dogmanstar,

You have to start somewhere! Big ups for getting yourself into shape and holding yourself accountable for improvement. As long as you keep pushing yourself, you'll being to see results that you never thought were possible.

Best of luck on your journey! =)
