So I finally set up a date today with a girl who I met 2 weeks ago at the park.
I tried to close her for the two weeks ago when we met and the interaction via text was good. But she said she was working the whole Labor Day weekend. So I hit her back last Tuesday to soft close her.
She said she was slammed for all of last week, but asked about next - meaning this week.
I threw her a couple fun value texts to just stay on her radar last week while I also approached and number closed a handful of other girls.
They didn't happen to bite.
So I followed up with the chick from the park today.
I said - "what are your thoughts on coffee and conversation with a sexy stranger from the park?"
She said - smiley face icon "I can't today but I love that shot" - she was referencing one of my value texts, a pic I took of something interesting
So I replied - "Not today silly ,)" "What's your schedule like this week?"
And she replied - "ROUGH my ex is taking back his cat sometime this week and work most days but perhaps friday morning?
And I dropped her this:
She replied with a laugh icon
I followed it up with - Friday works What part of town are you in?
She replied - we can meet near the park again
I closed it with - Know what Tom's Market has coffee Let's do that Friday morning
(Tom's Market is across the street from the park, it's an upper class market with a cafe)
She responded with a heart icon

Here's my question. I didn't know anything about a recent Ex.
I'm wondering if she sex rebounded over this past two weeks and she's setting me up as "new boyfriend guy."
OR... If I am possibly the rebound sex guy???
How would I screen her on the date to figure this out?
And what other guys she might have in the picture?
Or hooked up with?
