What am I doing wrong?

My complaints with online dating are the usual ones: crappy messages, no one I like is interested, conversations die out fast, and mostly that no one gets excited about me. I feel like just another date on everyone's roster.

Then you get a message from a seemingly great girl who ticks all your boxes - you're excited. You move to texting, you set up a date for the weekend.

She sends me a good morning message at 8am. Awesome right? You love that cheesy shit. You respond and continuing texting until you get busy at work. You also love this shit. Texting is your game.

You don't look at your phone for a few hours, she's texted jokes 3 times. The switch quickly flips and you suddenly don't feel like texting back. Surely she knows I'm busy at work? Or, she's so excited about me that I'm on her mind all day...

what the fuck is wrong with her? What the fuck is wrong with me? Is she needy? Am I being rude? Should I be flattered here?

Hours later, do I even want to text back then? But, isn't this what I fucking wanted?
