FR What are some great comebacks to 'I don't talk to strangers'?

Hey all, hope you're rocking the malls, groceries, offices, toilets and beds!

So I approached 2 girls today. Got the same response from both, 'I don't talk to strangers'. Not in a totally dismissive way, but not too friendly either. I know it shows that the initial attraction was not there from the girl's side in both the cases, but still, how do I reverse the frame? I GET THAT A LOT, AND EVERY TIME, I LEAVE THE SCENE DUE TO BEING UNABLE TO MOVE THE INTERACTION FORWARD.

What should I say when a girl says that she doesn't talk to strangers? Also, why does it happen?

I know if a girl only just talks to me for about a minute or so, then she'll want to move the interaction forward, but I can't even take it that far when I get the stranger response. Aaagghhhh!

i think that was their way of getting away from you. Need more details how was their body language towards you? how was your approach and body language to them?

other than that you could say, what do you consider a stranger? for example what if they say we dont even know your name, you could be like im such and such i guess we arent strangers anymore. i think that would be chasing them a little bit though. id just chalk it up as they are not interested. more details needed though

A cool response would be : "oh we don't have to talk " say it with a cheeky smile and tone. Goodbye shit test

Lol the hillarious part about this is a chick pulled this.on me today flirted with me played with her hair but ultimately walked away I.know I can have her persistent behaviour is best but I froze started laughing and tried to get her to comply coming back but she didnt. Lmao what are the odds

Think so too. I was actually thinking may be I could push the convo forward a bit using a good comeback, just to see if the way of responding changes after a minute or so. Mostly I find that these girls are a bit shocked, and cannot think clearly due to the sudden presence of a stranger.

Got it, but problem is, with most girls who give me the stranger comeback, I find the same girls looking at me the whole evening afterward, stealing glances. So I think it's only after I leave that they realize that they should have talked. Should I re-engaged such girls?

This one im.curious about, however inngoing to say logically. No, id like to hear if someone disagrees. However, to me its a red flag. They want you to chase, if she says it and doesnt stick around and walks away from you. Ball is in her court. If she stays though and doesnt leave or try to get rid of you, then you need persist more. However, you can look at her and maybe do some re opens but move on and talk to other woman.
