What does it mean when a girl instinctively covers her breasts as I walk past?

This is a trivial thing, but something I've not managed to figure out for years. Once in a while, as I walk past certain girls, even if I haven't looked or made eye contact, I've noticed that sometimes they will slightly pull their jacket/overshirt over their partially exposed breasts (usually if they're wearing a tight or revealing shirt).

I initially thought that they might just be self-conscious, but the fact that they do it regardless of whether I look at them makes me think that perhaps, on some primal level, she's sensing a sexually active potential mate in her presence?

Anyone noticed this for themselves and got any theories? Or am I making something out of nothing here?

Haven’t noticed happening to me too often but when I do is because I am “on the prowl” and girls get intimidated a little.

Not a huge deal, can be fixed if you approach with a friendly vibe.

I think you might be signaling sexual intent and those women are just not yet ready for it at that moment.

That makes sense.

I should get some data points by actually approaching the girl next time I notice it and see how she responds. Then I'll know for sure.

the right date makes getting her back home a piece of cake
