I live in Kenya, and the American media that reaches me (comedians, cnn, all media except fox)seem to be really biased against trump.
most of this hate seems to stem from trumps strong anti immigration policies
Americans seem to not mind(and in some instances)encourage illegal immigration.
I hear that ICE agents are treated as villains,
In Kenya we share a border with Somalia, which is a failed Muslim country, because of this Kenya has a problem with illegal immigrants from Somalia.
because of this I have always been extremely anti immigration.
to me the problem is simple.
A countries infrastructure security and facilities are paid for by taxpayers.
if someone enters into any country (legally or illegally) they are then using infrastructure that they didnt pay for.
the roads, that they will use and the security they will enjoy, was paid for by the countries original owners.
I have then always felt that an immigrant has less rights than an original citizen of a country, because of the simple fact that they have paid less to the country.
In my country I would only let an immigrant in if they are able to provide jobs for my citizens or if they have some rare skill that my countrymen dont have.
most immigrants dont really meet this criteria.
most immigrants (wether legal or illegal) come to another country in search of a better life, they do minumum wage jobs and even if they dont turn to crime,i really doubt they "pay" for the facilities they use.
In other words the golden rule should be,if we take the taxes that you contribute, and weigh them against the cost of the infrastructure you use,is the relationshipp betwwen you and the state symbiotic or parasitic?
I think if someone uses more state resources than the taxes they pay, they should be immediately kicked out(and if they can be prevented from coming in i the first place even better)
yet many Americans make republicans out to be bad when they take a strong stance against immigration.
what im I missing?or what dont they understand?thoughts?

you miss 100% of the shots you don't take

@Ree America has a rich history of calling foreign nationals “Americans” for the votes, very similar to calling a square a circle.

Daniel Day Lewis’ acting is spot on in this movie btw
