Problem Report What happened to the old drafts?

Before the new forum was launched, I had some drafts saved with useful links, notes etc. It seems like they are all gone. Any way to recover them?

And speaking of which: is it possible to create new drafts without them being deleted after 48 hours?

A quick search of the old DB shows you still had a draft saved there. I've just exported it... will send it to you via PM.

New forum only saves drafts for a set amount of time... 24 hours, I thought (though maybe it's 48 now?).

I don't believe there's any way around this, other than "save on your hard drive."

One tip, if you're formatting here, and want to save a draft + its formatting -- click the gear icon for "toggle BB code" and you'll see the formatting code too. Copy + paste that into a document, and when you're ready to keep editing, open the forum up, toggle BB code, paste in the code version, toggle back again, and voila, there's your fully formatted post.
