What is it about Alan Rickman's voice that is so sexy?

Most if not all of Alan Rickman's videos have girls drooling in the comment sections about how sexy his voice is. I did not notice anything that stands out apart from the fact he uses lots of pauses.
Can someone break it down for me please?

I checked out a Alan Rickman video and wow you’re right, a lot of people do find his voice sexy. I didn’t find it sexy when I first listened to it (Don’t care much for the accent), but I see the elements are all there nonetheless.

Referring to Chase’s article on sexy voices, Alan Rickman has:

Purr: that vibrating sound you make when you try to imitate Darth Vader. Very guttural and Sexy when done right.
Depth & Resonance: Not only does his voice purr, but it is deep and carries, similar to Morgan Freeman’s.
Boredom: Notice how his voice does not have much intonation to it? It’s the perfect balance between robot talk and baby talk.

Here’s the article on it

Thanks man.
Any idea how to add the purr in the voice?

To add a purr to your voice, talk in a low tone to where you have a slight vibration in your voice. You know when you talk into a fan? It’s kinda like that only not dorky sounding. You can also try to imitate George Clooney, Sean Connery or Harrison Ford; they all have that low rumble to their voice.

you miss 100% of the shots you don't take

Amazing man, thanks a lot. George Clooney particularly seems to have this purr.
Cheers and happy new year!
