In all seriousness, people are just drones. People put their faith and trust in the people who have the greatest influence over them. For children, it's often their parents. And if the parents are religious and say that "the Holy Bible is everything," then those children will believe it.

Many children these days eventually grow up and go off to college to find that the world is a much different place than what they were told, and if they allow themselves to experience what life is truly like, they can break that mold. But if you aren't allowing yourself outside the box of what you believe so that you can actually verify if it's true or not, then you're going to remain trapped inside the box until you do. =)

How can I put down a book that is most read after The Holy Bible (How to win friends and influence people) in the world?

Well I have to say I've never read "How to win friends and influence people" but I've read TONS of other books that have helped me become the strongest version of myself and more self actualized and better with women.

I don't really worship any one book or teacher but instead take whatever I find applies to me and my situation and use that practically in my life.

Don't be afraid to be open minded and not follow only what the masses are doing or saying to do.

Why are there so many different self-help guru's in the world? I think it's because not everyone is going to resonate with that specific instructor.

I personally don't like Tony Robbins that much and he's one of the "greatest" self development/life coaches of all time. I just don't really like his style and how he presents the information. Also a lot of the information that he gives out doesn't apply to me and my situation. I find that I resonate more with Tyler from RSD or Elliot Hulse from strength camp better as far as self development goes. And those 2 people I just mentioned are very small in the self development industry (compared to Tony Robbins) but the information I get from them helps me waaaayyyyy more in life than Tony Robbins stuff.

I don't really have anything that can help with your situation per se, but I am currently reading "King, Warrior, Magician, Lover" (forget the author) which describes the 4 archetypes of real masculine energy in which I'm finding most enjoyable.

I'd say go meet some women first and foremost, try and pinpoint where you're screwing up and then read some Girlschase articles concerning that particular area or come on the forums here and tell us about your interactions.
