What to do when you and the girl kinda hate each other?

This will be a bit of a complicated one. I was interested in a co-worker and made some moves on her. She is a sterotypical party girl (club every friday, super flirt with every guy, drinks and smokes a lot, high body count, etc). It did not worked, but no hard feelings, at least until up to this point. Then, ouy of nowhere, she started to ignore me and treat me very cold. Fine by me. I just mirrored her behaviour and started to ignore her as well.

But she did not took being ignored very well and started behaving passive agressive at the few times that we interacted, and flirted heavily with pretty much every other guy around. Her friends even asked why I did not talked anymore with her, as if I was the one that started this madness. By this point, I was beyond myself with anger and started by doing the same. You have me and her, two immature stupid fucks, locked in a silent war for weeks and our relations started to border on open hostility.

The situation got better after I came back from vacations. Distance cooled the waters a bit. Our relations are cold, but bearable.

The problem is: I hate this gal, but I am still thirsty to get her. I got another girl in the meantime, but this one does not leave my head (maybe is a freudian complex, who knows?). Does any someone here has the necessery knowledge to salvage this situation? Or it is unsalvageble?

Sounds like she's trying to get your attention.

It's been discussed a lot on this forum that dating coworkers is a no-go. But since you want to go there and presumably aren't worried about the potential social repercussions, might as well just ask her out.

The worst she can say is no. Hell, maybe she wants to fuck you too.
