How do you respond if a girl ask if you are trying to hookup with her during a date? I went on a date where, when I tried to hold her hand, she rejected, and then ask me if I am trying to hookup with her. I said I didn't think so much for whatever a date brings, just go with the flow.

You can be bolder and say that you are indeed looking for a hookup in a cheeky way if you calibrate the delivery correctly but it can also land badly with more conservative girls.
So, it’s a higher risk - higher reward option.

I've had this happen to me a few times, but usually when I'm escalating towards sex. And a line I use that never fails is..

"No, I'm just here to have fun".... then back off, switch to a social vibe and build more compliance before going sexual again

They just want to make sure you view them as a lady and not another notch on the bed post, but are still confident enough to go after what you want...
