Hey everyone,
The other day I met up with a female friend at a bar and she introduced me to her friend, which she had told me before she wanted me to meet. I then chatted the girl but then both of us got very drunk and then I started to make out with her on the dancefloor. I was able to get her number but at that time she was extremely drunk. About 3 hours after leaving the bar without her (she had to have her friend take her home), I texted her the usual, "Hey, it was nice meeting you, etc". Then around 10 am the next morning she just texts a "
" emoticon to me. About 8 hours later I texted her saying I wanted to get dinner with her sometime and what her schedule was like.
Its been over 24 hours now and she hasn't responded. From your perspective, what could have gone wrong? A little background is that I am older than her by 2 years, she seemed interested in me, she's a native chinese girl, kinda shy, rich, and although I really dont like saying these kind of things, just for background purposes my "perceived" value is higher than hers.
At this point, I think what MIGHT have gone wrong was that I shouldnt have made out with her (as chase suggests) even though she might have not remembered it as it could have caused a state-shift. Also, I believe I could have sent a few rapport building texts before asking her out over text as she might be too shy to respond.
Right now, what do you think would be my best course of action to get her to respond? Should I call or start sending rapport building texts? (ie, "how was your day", etc)
I would greatly appreciate any input u guys might have, thanks!
