Hi Guys,

I was deeply saddened by the Paris attacks. Suddenly i found myself with the masses and hate the terrorist. Then when i remember my research until today, i realize the terrorist are not so different than us. They want to go to Heaven. They pretend that they are good. They eat each other up. They are us.

So will you kill people instantly with a bomb blast or will you drain the people around you, until death? Either way, we are similar.

hmmm....true but don't you think that psychological and the other damages can still have a somewhat chance of being restored to some level if tried????.......how do you undo a life taken through the hands of a terrorist?????

Many Americans think that we should just isolate ourselves and let other countries deal with these guys. Isolationism might work for a small country but not for a superpower like the U.S.. Isolationism didn't work before, and it's certainly not going to work now. Sooner or later whatever is happening abroad is going to affect us, so it's best if we deal with the problem now and crush the extremists.

This is also prevailing in the Indian Continent. I have also been through many infructuous conversations with these types. They, as you say, choose to abandon logic and prefer to believe that theirs is the correct way.......I, in the end chose to ignore it.....

I thought American troops are still fighting the Taliban, Assad regime, remainings of Al Qaeda and also ISIS. America might be what they say as 'world police' but they do a lot for other countries.

I think that people are not to blame for their naive or their belief. We should not blame them totally. My another question is what you mean by india and its infrastructure?

True about the part on people's naivete.
Here in India, majority of the masses are brought up since childhood having a very religious background. As a result, there are not a lot of free thinkers in this place. Also, as it would be obvious, all those who ask questions and think freely are simply given the answer "It is what it is, just believe in it and don't ask questions" Moreover, the guys here too are trained by default to be nice guys. That and the culture system of arranged marriage and the prominence of rape sets a stage for conservatism. Also here not everyone from my age will try to stand apart or take the beaten path very often. Its more like study hard, get a good job, save up, get married, get a house, have kids, grow old and die. Just that, no time for any self-realization or any soul searching. Moreover, here too the religious people are not too open to answer your questions. Each one believes that his is the right message.

Probably as big a post as the writers on the site!!!!
But in a nutshell id say they are more or less like the girls in the west.....i mean the girls living in the big cities......but still i cannot accurately tell you everything in a manner which you would get the entire picture.....
They hate the guys here coz most of the guys as i said are trained to be nice guys and are not given lessons on how to become a sexy, properly social man.....most of the guys game around here is the stuff they see in movies and consists of weak indirect beat around the bush kind of flirting......most guys over here cannot directly tell a girl they like her...which pisses the girl off....
Apart from this there's the north indians where women are viewed as nothing less than sex tools and commodities........extreme prevalence of rape and murder and honor killings....inter religious marriages make parents kill their own daughters......dowry and other social crap......
That was the life of an average mid town Indian girl.....the metro girls lives are more or less like the lives of girls in the west.......
That was just a tiny insight into it.....there's a lot more........but it'll be a big post.......

I'm a bit late to this discussion, but I need to clarify that this is the type of western-influenced feminist nonsense that is slowly seeping into metropolitan Indian society. In my humble opinion, it needs to be stamped out. The social systems in place are arguably the most effective on the planet at maximizing productivity. And on top of that, almost every single person in the society reproduces. Other societies would kill to be able to have those metrics.
