When you have multiple women on the hook, past or present, it stands to reason that they might meet each other. My theory is that I never introduce two women to each other who have both "seen my penis" . That came to an end a couple weeks ago when my ex wife met my girlfriend. EW was silent and nodded, and had no desire to engage. Crisis averted...
But another situation has arisen where there is another woman, with whom I've never had a physical relationship, but she hinted at it....I denied her veiled advances and she became a little bitter I think. She made it seem like I propositioned her...She became critical and confrontational in her texts. I ended up blocking her on social media, which agitated her more. I went no contact for the last year. We have online friends in common and she has made pointed comments directed at me which I've refused to engage.
Well yesterday my girlfriend went to the store where this woman works. She hasn't said that this woman knew me, but described her, and her distinctive physical characteristics to me. It was her.
I'm worried that this woman may say something disparaging about me to my current girlfriend if she makes the connection.
I'm worried that my girlfriend is going to wonder why this woman knows me.
I'm worried that this would raise a trust issue in my relationship, beyond the "covert dread" level .
I wonder if I should be proactive and address it ahead of any questions, or wait until asked specifically. My strategy to this point has been Don't Ask, Don't Tell.
