When would you set up the 2nd date after a makeout at your on 1st?

Hi all, went out with this gal, cool date and ended up at mine. Made out a lot quite intensively, but no sex happened. She texted me after the date saying she had good time bal bla, I replied sort of "same here"

When would you set up the second date? You see when I date during the week, it's a bit sketchy to set up dates after bc I dont want to text the next day and then the weekend comes and I have plans, she has plans maybe.. So should I text her like on Sat (3 days later) to meet during the week or even next day on Sunday?

I dont want to seem needy and I have friends to meet. Interestingly when she was sort of not staying to spend the night at mine, she said something like "this is what weekends are for" Again, is this a shit test to see if I sort of follow her suggestion? Should I do the opposite and text her after weekend?

Or this is all overthinking and since she was into me I should just quit the waiting bs and set a date asap for this weekend? (and cancel some plans)?

You're overthinking this. It doesn't matter if it's on a weekend or a weekday, just set it up when you're both free.

Texting her the next day isn't necessarily a sign of neediness as long as you're coming from a non-needy place - which is outcome independent.

So just text her to make plans. you could even plan for the following weekend if that works best for both of you. And yes, you can also try for this weekend, but generally you don't want to make weekend plans past Wednesday. So not a deal breaker but lower probability she will say yes, and also MAY display lower value (but not necessarily).
