Why are some guys from specific backgrounds often better at game?

Edit: Changed my previous Clickbait title I don’t think black guys are necessarily better at game... Just find it interesting how certain cultures/upbringings can more often produce personalities that are more likely to do well in this area.

@TomInHo post here unintentionally revealed that there are a lot of black guys on this forum. It then got me thinking that out of all my friends (I live in London, UK) the black guys in general have better game.

I have some theories that I thought would be interesting to discuss... To thread admins If this thread gets out of hand just lock it off lol


1. Family Culture

The "black culture" is obviously very diverse but for the most part the man is expected to be the "man" but at the same time there's a lot of reverence for the woman of the household. That combination makes us a lot better of finding the balance between being masculine whilst being caring to women.

A lot of us grew up around a ton of woman with bigger families where we're tight with cousins, aunties etc. so we pick up social ques quicker than more nuclear family focused groups.


2. Music

I think this is a hugely underrated one. A lot of rap/hip hop is about not losing your mind over a girl think Jay Z "I have 99 problems but a B**** ain't one". Dancehall, R&B is also sensual and makes us comfortable with our sexuality


3. Stereotypes

Big dick malarky. No shame in admitting I don't live up to the hype lol but probably served us well. Also being known as "players" probably helps with pre-selection too.


4. BONUS - We're in fashion

Don't know if it's BLM, us being seen as exotic but we seem to be the flavor of the year to hipster girls. Don't know how long it will last but definitely seeing an uptick in girls being into me and from a wider net as we become more mainstream. My personal opinion is that oriential asian guys are next in line with popularity because of K-POP and those man are crazily achievement focused... Read one story about a chinese guy who like a fucking doctor and navy seal... They aren't here to play games!


Our downsides?

Think black guys are more likely to fall into Alpha 1.0 traps where because we're confident & good at getting what we want, we fall victim to our own egos / trying to have everything our own way vs letting life be.

lol nah on a serious note. Upbringing may have something to do with it. “simping” is looked down on in my culture at least. I know if i were caught supplicating to a woman it wouldn’t be “aww that’s so sweet”… i’d genuinely get called a madman and be ridiculed by my FEMALE family members. Less “disney”.

Family history of poverty also seems to root the delusion out aswell. Speaking from a caribbean perspective though, can’t talk on anybody else..

I'm of African decent and in my culture the men are notorious for having multiple girlfriends and wives, so I would say most black men are raised to be decent at game.

In fact, one of my uncles got another woman pregnant and when his wife confronted him about it he said "You can either get used to calling that child your son, or you can kick rocks and get no support from me"... she stayed and I learned a valuable lesson in relationship frame control

See this with Asian minorities as well. We pretty much similar but there is a lot of differences. I don't think that dark skin people are better at game.

I used to think the advantage black guys in the US had was due to higher testosterone levels. Which they used to have.

However, more modern studies show no difference in T-levels among the men of different ethnic groups in the US. So whatever was causing that before, it's leveled out.

The big differences between black natural friends of mine vs. white natural friends of mine is that my black ones have been:

• Far touchier
• More overtly sexual
• Much faster at recovering from mistakes

They gamble a lot, trying a lot of little things, that might be a bit too much, then correct themselves on a dime if the other person reacts negatively: "Whoa, ho ho! I'm just playing, just playing. Seriously though, you blah blah blah (some kind of flattery or distraction to chill the other person out)." It's a brasher, more intuitive style of game.

Compare that to the white naturals and high skilled PUAs I've known. They tend to have much more methodical, surgical game, where they know what they want to say and are calibrating everything to be on-point and avoid mistakes. It's a more planned out, deliberate style of game.

But then you meet Italian guys, and a lot of them are doing the same thing you see black guys doing, where they are bold, brash, test things then back off if it doesn't fly, very intuition-guided game.

Skilled East Asian PUAs IME are usually similar to skilled white PUAs, with more methodical, deliberate game.

Is it a genetic thing? Dark-skinned men have evolved brasher, bolder, more intuition-based mentalities, whereas light-skinned men have more deliberate, mistake-avoidant, methodical ones? Then how do you explain Indian men?

Is it a product of environment? Certainly the black guys I know who are good with game have come from backgrounds where they are socializing all day long, busting on other guys, getting busted on, hounding after girls from a very young age. Whereas most white and East Asian guys are focusing on school (and the more you are in school, the more you are having rules beaten into you and instinct/intuition out), they are playing video games, they have small social circles or might even be asocial loners, and they do not have anywhere near the level of social development you see with your average loquacious black PUA.

Maybe there's a feedback between genes and environment? Certain genes lead certain peoples to create certain kinds of environments, and prefer those environments, while others create/prefer different ones.

Anyway, my going theory now is it's mostly related to how early a start a guy gets with socializing and how many hours he puts into it, especially testing the limits of what he can get away with. The more he puts in, the more he tests the limits, the more natural social ability and intuition he will have; the better able he is to test, probe, try brash things, then recover if it's a miss, and the less methodical his game will tend to be.

Is this style of game BETTER?

I think to answer that question you need to expand it to "better for WHAT?"

There are situations and girls it is definitely better for. Others, not always.

It certainly is a lot of fun to go pick up girls with a guy like this though. It's a wild ride, and there's always stuff to learn.

I for one am happy there are so many different flavors of game.

It'd be really boring if everyone was doing the same thing, the same way.

You'd have a lot fewer pathways to success, too, with everyone trying to win every girl the exact same way.

There's so much to unpack here as to why your claim maybe true, atleast on the surface.

Gaming within your race is easy and white men in general don't have to put in as much effort to succeed with women of their own. You'll experience something similar if you're black or Asian and game within your race. If you're gaming outside, then you need to be cooler and more attractive than her usual courters.

Mainstream media. In the last few years, there's been a surge in advertisements and media content presenting the black male and white female dynamic. From the Kardashians to Bridgerton, a random TV advert about sofas to my work health policy handbook, there's a 90% chance if there's a family or a couple, it's a black male and white female. So that means black guys are trending higher than any other demographic.

Finally, there's the higher testosterone factor which leads to more masculine behaviours, energy, and risk taking. It's a great time to be alive as a black male.

yup, black folk coined the term "simp" itself. it's been said since at least the 80s (I've heard my grandma and aunties say it more than once lol) but it reached public consciousness in the 90s through rappers like Three 6 Mafia, DJ Quik, etc.

The part that was forgotten was that simp was a dichotomy. You could either be a (S)ucker (I)dolizing (M)ediocre (P)ussy or a pimp. Said another way, if you overly-sympathized with a thot you were a simpleton.

I'd say environment has a lot to do with it for sure. For one, I'd wager there's a strong class influence at play. From what I've seen as black men become wealthier they begin to assimilate their game, and it eventually comes to more closely resemble that of other white people - less outwardly aggressive, more clinical, etc. There are many reasons for this, but one of them certainly has a lot to do with what you've listed here. I've noticed Black Zoomer men are becoming as feckless as any other, and this seems to fall in line with the fact that people are becoming more alienated and atomized from each other at large. Isolation + creature comforts keeps everyone equally socially stunted.

People have raised good points around: Anti-simp culture, being overtly touchy (Italians & Latinas are like this too) and heylover mentioned a great one on ethnic backgrounds in the past having to step up to get white girls so essentially "over-perform".

Also important to note that all these characteristics could be re-created in any demographic.

In terms of my future son looks like the way I'll maintain the momentum is:

1. Maintain big family ties so that they he picks up social ques quicker. Either through having many kids or being close with extended family

2. Model good behavior and have excellent frame control with the women in my life

3. Get him good at x1 physical sports activity. God forbid I raise a "red/black pill" gamer or incel. Not on my watch lol.

I believe life is a video game. Where you focus your time on to improve your skills you will generally get better at. Maybe certain cultures have a propensity to focus on socialising etc, then people from that culture might be better at social skills.

At the end of the day, I believe everything is a skill that you can focus to improve and get better at. It is not simply your race but your experience and time spent on doing something.

Definitely true, the West is cold dead, we are the men amongst the ruins. However, just maximize your own success in life. Instead of getting blackpilled, you can do your best and still get great results and get yourself a great girl. There are still some good ones out there.
