I knew this Latina chick, she was nice and cute, and IMO quite attracted to me. All I had to do is just ask for a date. “Give me your phone number” I told her directly, with bored face. Eh, talk about smoothness… And she gave me the number with no hesitation, while all excited and nervous, waiting for my call back, perhaps expecting something really exciting… But I did nothing, I was just thinking, hesitating... She even invited me to share a meal with her, and patiently waited for me. She then got all pissed off when I didn’t call and didn’t push things forward, and then she started to avoid me...
And then, that silly and cute little sexy creature turned into a totally cold and mean bitch. I thought that we are still having a great vibes when I talked to her several months later, I felt so good and even quite dominant because I felt her feminine weakness, I really thought that she is submitting, I felt those vibes again…
But then looking in her face and listening to her words, I suddenly realized that I am totally wrong, and that she actually hates me. So we split, if you can call it split because we were never really together... Later on, I think 2 years or so later, we exchanged several FB messages and emails, and she was all nice, positive, and then implying that I should call her again...
So I thought everything is ok, she got over herself, and I called her with a friendly tone hoping for a date… This time I was decided that I’m gonna nail her as soon as the window of opportunity opens. But she was so fucking all bitchy again, talked to me with very cold and mean tone, and almost hanged up on me with “I’ll call you back!”… WTF? She still hated me after all this time, and she wanted revenge… She still wanted revenge for not inviting her to date such a long time ago…
Then I talked to my friend, unrelated story. He was a screwball, kind of a Nice Guy with some weird tricks that enabled him to pull it off and nail some females, but only when he was in the right state of the mind, which he usually wasn’t. At that time I noticed something very peculiar. His story was, that he had a LTR GF and he left her for several months because of his new job, but he was coming back home after several months. His GF got very pissed at him when he left her, they were still talking hours with each other over the phone, but mostly they only fought…
Finally they broke up and he was all depressed, he was all hurt, yet at the same time he was so afraid that she is looking for someone else... Really weird, he just couldn’t understand that it was him who left her, he thought that he is the one who was really hurt, and now he was suspicious and jealous that she found another guy…
And she actually did. The way she got back to him was, that at first he had no clue she’s with someone else. She was all of the sudden very nice with him on the phone, she wanted to setup a date with him, and she invited him for a date once he was ready to go back to his city…
He caved in, thinking why not go to see his old GF? He got all excited that they will be together again, he agreed to see her again after several months, he was relieved that she changed her mind. That is when she pulled up the meanness: She invited him for a date. It would be he, her - and her new boyfriend...
Well, my friend was totally devastated; he couldn’t understand why would she do it. It was pure revenge from her, cold vengeance. All she wanted was to punish him because he originally “dumped her”. She had no intentions to coming back to him; she too wanted revenge even after all those months…
Then I read some posts here on GC and I kinda realized that this is not a coincidence, and that this is happening quite often in different intensity. There is a certain pattern: At first, there is great attraction, the guy signals that he is interested in intimacy, he looks sexy and acts sexy, he seems to be confident.... So she gets quite excited. She then gives him a window of opportunity (which he may not even recognize), but instead of him pushing forward he pulls back. She then withdraws all of her excitement, and drops the guy, he doesn’t get second chance... There is no second date because there was too much exciting energy during the first interaction and now it's not easy for her to go "back" to it, there is simply too much expectation... And the guy, instead of looking more casual he is trying to look even more sexy...
If this is a new relationship (e.g. first date) he doesn’t get second date because there was too much intensity going on, the vibes were too high, and he failed to capitalize on the given opportunity. She gets disappointed and drops him. If this was a long term relationship (or potential for one) and her impression is that she is being dumped, she will try to come back with revenge. The revenge always is: Lets get together again and have really good time – but once he does that, she then dump him in quite unpleasant way. She just doesn’t drop him to the ground, she kind of lifts him up and smashes him down …
Is it just my impression or has anyone else noticed that too...??
