HI,

I didn't know life's hard and annoying. Biggest mistake is taking life on a mass scale. YOu must always take your life day by day. That's life. You are living. Three principles here.

1)Life is management of pleasure pain principle.

2)Trial and Error, Management of risk.

3)Law of large numbers

Hey Zac,

Not sure exactly what you meant. Yes agreed we should never forget to enjoy ourselves, we have only one life. It's too easy to get sucked into the routine and it's daily dose of worries. You get married, get a family, work for your mortgage, work for your family, work for your career, work on your couple. Then one day you wake up and realize that you forgot about yourself. So you should never forget to enjoy your life "day by day".

But on the grand scheme of things "life on a mass scale", if you want to go somewhere, you must have a plan, and be in charge. Yes, there is some amount of trial and error, but you need a plan, some idea of what you want to achieve in your life, and some timeline. If you don't (like, I guess, the majority of people) then life will very likely take you somewhere else. Your career, for instance, could take an unexpected direction, according to the corporation's needs, and not necessarily where you wanted to go. Staying on top of your life requires a plan, and making things happen (whatever that is) require lots of work.

I learned all this the hard way. But I got my lesson.

Hope that helps.

Cheers,
Seppuku
