Socially acceptable in some areas of USA I would have added. I added hot because no one really gives a shit if ugly white girls go interracial because to the racists, it just "proves" their point.

Had to make sense with the wording somehow since I was given limited space, read the thread to see that as an Asian guy I am not racist towards this sort of stuff.

I have a friend who is Hispanic, we both went to the same high school in the bible belt (where the dating game was horrible for any guy that wasn't white or black) and had our struggles. Recently, I caught up with him and chatted with him. Right now he lives in one of the Great Lakes states and he said that he has had an amazing time with the dating game, even though he is one of the few Hispanic guys in his area so it's not like diversity is helping him any. Not only that, he says that he meets guys of all minority groups who date cute white girls. My friend has told me that girls show a lot more interest towards him and he would have had to go way above and beyond to girls that hot in his time in the bible belt.

The other thing he told me is that most local guys and local people in his area just don't give a shit at all. No one really has a problem with it and most people either mind their own business or occasionally stop to tell the couple they're cute. Now he lives in a mostly white area with only sprinkles of minorities but in Seattle, the reaction to it is more or less the same. I could see a pretty looking blonde with an Asian or Pakistani guy and no one would give a shit, at all.

I've walked hand in hand with some cute white girls in Seattle and no one gave a shit. I was out with a cute white girl years ago when I was in the bible belt, we were just friends, and people were staring, giving us mean looks, and one dude even asked her "you ain't with him are ya?". Talk about a culture shock, I am Asian btw.

You can say he is "exotic" but I strongly doubt he would be pulling hot white girls in some bible belt city that lacks diversity.

I've noticed that in some parts of the country (whether they lack diversity or are highly racially diverse), it is very rare and a major social taboo for an attractive white girl to go interracial, especially if the guy is of a more foreign minority group (Asian, Hispanic, Arab). A couple like that is extremely rare, even if the area might have some racial diversity in it. What's strange is you see white guys dating girls of minority groups in that same area and there is hardly as much concern. The few rare times you see a hot white girl with a minority, people tend to stare and a lot of people in the area might lose their shit over it as I noticed in my time in the bible belt.

At the same time, in other areas of the country, there isn't some major social taboo for a hot white girl to go for a minority and it tends not be that out of the norm. People don't lose their shit over it at all and just sorta accept it.

My question is what sort of social storm or circumstances make it a reality to where hot white girls see no major social taboo towards going for minorities and people in the area don't really care if they do?

Lots of race threads on the first page so I won't fault users here for getting angry about it but this is a reasonable thread.

I think it has a lot to do with the availability of attractive of white girls in an area to begin with. When there are a lot of hot white girls around in an area, white guys won't lose their shit if one goes interracial because there are so many to go around. In the bible belt states, I hear that obesity rates are high and your typical southern girl isn't really that attractive. Most cases it is 80 percent that are hideous, 10 percent that are decent looking, and 10 percent that are extraordinarily good looking but they are concentrated in certain groups such as the sorority girls at some SEC schools. Due to this you might have white guys getting more territorial because there just aren't that many hot white girls to go around.

Some of the Great Lakes states have a high Scandinavian presence and Scandinavians are not only some of the best looking whites but from my experience, also the most tolerant and laid back in terms of race relations compared to their Anglo counterparts.

It might have to do with the culture of whites that are present in certain parts of the country. I've also noticed that whites who are more "ethnic" meaning not Anglo tend to be somewhat more tolerant of dating minorities. My friends from minority backgrounds have said that they have an easier time with more foreign or ethnic white girls (Italian, Slavic, or just anything not Anglo) as opposed to your typical "basic bitch" who religiously follows mainstream culture.

Both make a lot of sense, come to think of it.

Why would white guys even care that much if there are so many hot white girls to go around? I think it is a heritage thing as well you can tie into all of this. Scandinavian women, on average, are the most attractive of all the white women. Except for Slavic women, I cannot see any group of women giving Scandinavian girls a run for their money when it comes to looks. It just so happens to be that whites from those backgrounds, well Scandinavian at least, don't care that much if their women go interracial.

With certain groups, American southerners in particular, it is a pretty big deal if a hot white girl goes for a minority. Having grown up in the south, the stuff about ratios is true. Not only that, there are a lot of black women too, it's 50% black and 50% white. Of the 50% white girls, most are overweight, some are slim but not pretty, and then there are a few pretty ones. The few pretty ones go for the same types of guys; football players and frat bros from wealthier families. Pretty tough for a guy to be okay with one of these girls going for a guy she should not be going for.

So to make it easier, if you want to get hot white girls, go where there are a lot of hot white girls.

Hmmm....

I've heard that in Nevada and Arizona there is a lot of animosity towards brown skinned guys that might want to date white girls and those states are known for having a lot of attractive women. It may as well be the same reason that some European women are not that into Arab looking guys. We're exotic and handsome when there aren't that many of us but where there are a lot of us behaving in aggressive and creepy ways.

As much as people would love to place the blame on whites, I don't think that brown guys acting in aggressive ways while lacking game is doing us any justice either.
