Women Push/Pull too???

I was at work today and my co-worker, an older women, who is attractive tends to push/pull alot. I mean I go and talk to her and she acts uninterested and then I go back to my chair and go into my own little world (put my headphones on) and she try's too get my attention, meaning she talks to me more when I ignore her lol. I then go back and talk to her and then she pushes me away again (acts uninterested) lol she does this consistently. I have had other women do this too me before in the past too and now I feel like it hit me that women play like this alot. When I ignore women that I have talked too they try too get my attention and I talk too them and BAM! She pushes me away haha.

Does anyone know what I am talking about? It feels like women play these games.

What is a good counter too this type of behavior i am curious?

I experienced something similar last night too.
Beautiful Brazilian girl, guys were chatting her up all night but she was not very impressed, rolling her eyes and moving away. I was chilling at the bar most of the night and she kept coming back to me, wherever I moved, or whenever she went somewhere else she'd come right back to me, brushing against me, kept "accidentally" touching me, kept looking at me, etc....

I spoke to her a lot throughout the night but I'd casually say something to her at the bar while other guys where marching up with their openers so it was a bit more natural. That said, when we did speak, she didn't give me much.... infact, I ended up bored with her. She was hot and she knew it, I'd have to work to get her... she was definitely beautiful but I knew she wanted me to work hard despite hovering me all night, it actually grew boring and I ended up going talking to some girls who were fun.

I think you have to move fast and go for broke with these girls. They won't do much of the talking until you break down the "shield" a little so you have to be sort of on rapid fire, just keep throwing thoughts and topics at her almost like it confuses her into opening up (think Russell Brand for this one... just keeps talking ridiculousness until even his biggest enemy would eventually burst out laughing and open up to him.)
