Alright, well i was always a weird kinda guy I guess. i have matured, and toned down the enthusiasm/randomness/sarcasm. It's still there though.

Something I have noticed with girls lately is that they will say something like "you are so odd/strange, but i love it!"

I feel like girls could find be uncomfortable with oddness if you have the wrong vibe about it.

I have seen women go into auto rejection with me due to moving slow. Usually I'd move on. In one case, I had been auto rejected by a girl who had previously said to me "You are strange. I like that." One night after not talking to her for a bit, I interacted with her through facebook and ramped up the strangeness and randomness and it brought her out of auto rejection and we made plans to meet up.

You guys got any thoughts on the matter? Or can you help me tie up this idea?

Ok, here's my 2 cents...

Since you don't specify in which way you are odd/different, I will try my best, but I have to keep it very general. I cannot curtail it to you without more information.

Being odd/strange = being different.

Being different is positive because it brings hope that you could do better than all the previous guys who happen to be more or less the same… and who didn't fit the bill (otherwise she would be with them and not looking for someone new).

But being different is also bad.

Because it makes you less relatable. You're new and the girls don't know how to act around you. When you act to counter auto-rejection, my guess is that you do stuff to come across as more relatable and it fix the issue.

the right date makes getting her back home a piece of cake

Are you odd/strange in a good way or bad way? If girls keep around you and talk to you, it is a good way. If they rather move away from you, there is something with your vibes.

See Johny Depp, he is rather odd/strange/weird guy, but it is fairly easy to say that many girls would love to be around this guy...

So being odd/weird guy might be quite good. For God's sake, you don't want to be "normal" anyway, not in this crazy world...

Thanks for the replies. I am confident I am different in a different/odd/strange way that is great!
