To clarify this, I'm from Eastern Europe too and it's traditional to call your childless (older) female family members, wish them a happy womans day and catch up with them. On mothers day you do the same but with all the mothers in your family. In some countries they bring flowers to women, I don't do that personally.
What I did texting wise was shoot a ping to leads ''happy womans day!!!'' and added a flower blooming sticker with bees flying around (like what boomers tend to send) to make it clear it's a joke - I mean you congratulate older women on this occasion, not your 20yo something girl you're trying to smash/ friend. Then just proceed as usual.
