Xbox One or PS4?! Fun Thread

Hey Guys,

I wanted to make a fun thread to figure out and gather information on what the community thinks my next game console purchase will be. It's supposed to be a fun thread, even if you don't play video games and etc . . . Just choose one or the other. If somebody likes Xbox or PS don't bash them haha . . . I ussually end owning both eventually anyway . . . so don't take this thread to seriously. Just give me feedback on which one you think I should by first!

Although, admittedly, I will probably purchase neither for quite awhile (if at all). I'm a PC gamer myself.

IMO, I would have to say PS4. But wait for the first price drop(s). I bought the xbox 360 because it was cheaper but I always liked playstation. And I am in the same boat as Franco when it comes to gaming. PC is awesome, even if you buy some low end computer/laptop for $250-$500.

Hardware - they're almost identical, with PS4 barely outperforming Xbox One.

Price - PS4 wins every day.

Motion Gaming - Kinect 2 wins.

Online - Xbox Live used to be considered the better service - hell, you had to pay for it. Now PSN has caught up to Xbox Live, all while giving away free games, game discounts, and charging less money via PS+.

Exclusives - This is where most people make their decision, and it's where it should be made. If you really want a game that is exclusive to one console, then get it. If not, PS4 is clearly the better option. Titanfall looks pretty badass, though.

Friends - If all your friends are on one system, go with that system. Or just be frugal and get both .

In the end, I'd have to agree with Franco. PC gaming all the way. Can easily build a system with the same specs as Xbox One/PS4 for $100 less. Even better, you can build a faster version for some extra money, and can upgrade it along the way .

Xbox, switched from Playstation. Just needed a media machine to compliment my custom built PC.

I don't know why, but I haven't played much the past few months or so. I go through phases like that, I guess.

My favorite games ever are the Bioshock series and the Fallout series, so I sort of HAVE TO HAVE an Xbox.

I am a PC gamer but haven't played much since the semester started back up again. I'm leaning towards the xbox one now that titanfall is out and the witcher 3 will be xbox exclusive
