Great point OP and one that is not often talked about in a lot of places. From my experience status is almost mandatory once you want to get the 9s and 10s. Surprisingly these girls don't sleep around a lot and they are picky about who they are hooking up with. In college these girls are going after frat boys that are in the fraternities respected on campus and are important members of that fraternity or they are chasing the athletes who are going to be rich and famous one day. I am currently in a relationship with a girl that could be identified as very hot and turns heads often but in order to be with her I have the following:

1. Above average looks which have come from a lot of years in the gym, working on style, and hitting my macros.
2. Very involved on campus.
3. Years spent working on my game and getting to know girls.
4. Being a social guy that is almost at every party on most weekends.
5. Having a huge network of friends that love to drink and party.

I believe I lucked out with the girl I am dating right now because most guys would be lucky to have a girl like her. What I think Chase and the writers should do is point to professions and hobbies which are likely to put hot girls in your life. One of my friends is an aspiring actor that lives in big cities and he has worked on his status for over a year. Right now he is dating a girl that models and is considered well into the 8+ range but he is a catch himself.

For getting laid I believe it is more of working on your game and putting yourself out there. For getting an 8+ I believe it has more to do with building yourself to be as close as possible to a male 8+ and then talking to as many hot girls as you can.

True enough, I have read a lot about people on the way to success. From wrestlers surviving on catering on the wrestling day itself to eating peanut butter with bread. I realize dancer, DJ, Bouncer will be the only "useful" professions.

I have acquaintances in the airline industry, a number of them. They get paid a lot and they travel around the world. It's a cool job although with a risk of dying deep in the ocean. (Something i never fond of dying)

A large portion of the legitimately beautiful girls do spend time in wealthier parts of town, yes.

This is for a variety of reasons, but mostly all boil down to better quality of people - no drug addicts / gangsters / cat-callers / etc. in the posh district, and she's going to tend to make friends with women and men, and get dates with men, who are attractive, intelligent, educated, ambitious, and successful.

That doesn't mean if she's a genuine beauty she's only dating men with 7 figure bank accounts. Some do some of the time; a few do all of the time; others never do. There are a lot fewer rich men than there are beautiful women, and plenty of rich men date ugly women. Rather, what it means is that, just like the plain-looking girl who pretties herself up with hair and clothes and makeup and heads to the nightclub to put herself in an environment to meet men who will value her at the top end of her valuation, thus earning her the highest caliber mates she can realistically get, a beautiful girl who puts herself in a wealthy environment is giving herself (much) better chances at making friendly, business, and romantic connections of a higher caliber than what she'd make were she hanging in, say, a hipster dive bar in the artsy part of town.
