Hey bro, I can't fucking dance, help me out. Dance classes I tried in the past were shit, only tried two though. I envy the people who can go to a bar and get jiggy with it, I make Napoleon Dynamite look like Chris Brown when he dances.

Nobody was born a dancer, i could not dance for shit, just got into it cause of the ladies.....Dancing is just like any other skills such as surfing, pick up, skateboading, pool etc......

youtube/tiktok has a million tutorials and dancing this week i saw one new dance that came out, i just look ______ dance tutorial, i make sure the tutorial is sexy vs clownish, and then i practice for couple of days.... till i am comfortable...

Just make sure to try to make the dances somewhat sensual/seductive/sexy vs dancing monkey...

totally incorrect.... I recommend you to read mastery by robert green, there is no skill in the world you can not master if you dedicate focus and time to it...

I would agree if this was about dancing skills - sure footwork that you get in hip hop is EVERYTHING. It is the same type of footwork you will see in many other contemporary dance forms.

But when it comes to dancing with a chick, she rarely gives any fucks about your footwork though

That all said, not going to say it is useful. Nice dancing is an art and its fun

If it is private, it is fine.

Generally, If you are dancing and it is usually in public, group classes, clubs, etc. Let's say you are learning and with her. You will occasionally get challenged in a 'positive' or 'fun' kinda way.

You will get challenged.

The intentions from all this men varies. Often, can be hitting on your chick. Often can be just collective fun. Some just want to show that they are a good dancer.

But I have seen what is first an innocent move to have fun by other men, turnout to be brutal for the guy.

Because girls, well. They want the biggest party person per se in town. I'm sure you as a DJ, you see this shit show.

And women naturally are fun and not to mentioned, tribal. So their response varies and you are being forced to handle situations.

You can play it down but the girl you are dating, they follow momentum you know. They follow their own wind.

I have not DJ'ed for years, but what I can tell, from the DJ boot youonly see people upper bodies at best... you rarely see their feet (and footwork). Usually the clubs are too packed to see any impressive dancing (sadly).

But yeah always guys trying to sneak up and steal girls. Not sure if "footwork" is what we will define whether you win or loose her. Not even sure if dancing skills is the major factor in whether she picks one guy over another, especially in a chaotic dark and packed venue where people's perception is impaired (i.e. they can't see your great moves).

They are however, a major annoyance and can potentially be a good cockblocks though.

But I do not believe that the way to handle those is to outcompete them in dancing. That just sets a bad frame - you basically act reactive, and fall into their frame (you let them pace and dictate your interaction... a bit too much)

I believe what he's saying, is that if a seducer sees you dancing poorly with a girl, he will assume you are an AFC and will move in to try and take your girl away from you. And this can certainly happen if you've relied on buying temperature as a means for investment rather than frames (tight verbal game). much more difficult to take her from you then.

Yeah i do this all the time lol, but in my case then i am the one doing the cockblock, but i do it very subtle...


Somethings that have worked against me doing this type of cockblock, is fuck up body language from the dude, or just positioning the women the right way.... though most guys don't know how to do this...

My friends have it and I see it a lot with black dudes but I don't have that it rhythm
