Though Girls Chase articles leave so little to be desired - and getting your ass outside is most important - I’m interested in reading a few classic seduction books. Are there any that are real essentials? I’m thinking like half or a dozen tops.

Are there any I should add to or remove from this list? I’m looking more for ones that are “canon”. Surely there are many that are very worth reading, like @Tony D ’s A Thousand Tiny Failures, but I’m looking for the Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John of instruction manuals, if that makes sense.

Chase Amante - How to Make Girls Chase

Joseph W. South, David Clare, and Franco - Practical Female Psychology for the Practical Man (plus as mentioned in the book: Leil Lowndes - Undercover Sex Signals; Tracey Cox - Superflirt; Nancy Friday - My Secret Garden)

Robert B. Cialdini - Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion

Richard Bandler - Frogs into Princes

Mystery - Venusian Arts Handbook; Revelation

Swinggcat - Real World Seduction

David DeAngelo - Double Your Dating

Daniel Bergman - What Do Women Want

Well I wouldn’t know if I’m missing a classic by someone I’ve never heard of.

And equally as important, I’m wondering if any should be skipped. For example, is there a need to read older works like Mystery, Swinggcat, and DeAngelo, or are the essential concepts already distilled by Chase?

And maybe Cialdini, Bandler, and Bergman are useful, but not necessarily classic essentials.

Out of the list, I’ve only read Chase and part of Practical Female Psychology, so I’d like to proceed efficiently and not get more caught up in reading than approaching. But if there’s a couple essential works covering fundamental concepts, I’d like to check them out.

There is a book by “Juggler” and one by Richard LaRuna (Gambler).

Complete Game System by 60YearsOfChallenge

Four elements of game by Rob Judge

Models by Mark Manson

In10se has a book on seduction but I forget what its called.

VinDicaro has a book called The Attraction Code.

David Wygant has one I THINK is called :How to date attractive women” or some shit.

Magic Bullets by Savoy.

Brad P and Mehow both have books but just like with Savoy, I’m not a fan of any of the three.

Gunwitch has his original method guide out there somewhere.

Did Razorback ever write a book? I dont think so but there are PDFs compiled from his post.

the mASF archive.

So so many more I’m forgetting.

Now that would depend on how deep down the rabbit hole u want to go.Some books do contain good information that are applicable today as they were in the past like Swinggcat's .

I mean u'll get something out of most books u've listed but with the Girls Chase blog u'll have almost everything covered and u'll realize u r already familiar with most stuff u'll be going through in the books lol .

I think there’s a few “classic” books that really helped me:

1. The Manual by W. Anton

2. Sexual Key (ver. 3) by J.D. Fuentes

3. The Dating Wizard by Michael Marks (+ the Dating Wizard Returns)

4. 60 Years of Challenge - Complete Game Revision System

5. Real World Seduction (ver. 2) by Swinggcat

6. Make Her Persue You: The Advanced Bad Boy Training Course by Ron Louis & David Copeland

7. Manual of Seduction by Franco

8. Influence by Robert Cialdini (this sets out alot of the base principles for other seduction courses - especially Swinggcat & Mystery Method)

@Warped Mindless and @James Cruse thank you!! These look like great lists. So far I've just read a chunk of Swinggcat and a bit of 60 Years of Challenge. I think it'll be helpful to read a few quality foundational writings.

@Teevster wrote some excellent articles on influences and inspirations that contain names to focus on.

I skimmed Revelations by Mystery and something that stuck out was a mention that your clock is ticking to pass your genes on to the next generation. This got me thinking you better get moving on training up the ability to access quality options.

Models really helped me level up. The power of being vulnerable part was a great eye-opener. Chicks love that shit when it's well-calibrated. I am a very confident guy [women often express that to me], so being able to show that side of me worked wonders.

I don't know if it's a classic 'seduction' book, but the Story of O should be read by every man who wants to understand women better.

Updated list:

(2003) Gunwitch - Dynamic Sex Life (still evaluating)
(2003) Swinggcat - Real World Seduction (still evaluating)
(2004) Franco - Manual of Seduction
(2005) Swinggcat - Real World Seduction 2.0 (probably replaces original)
(2005) Juggler - How to Meet and Connect with Women
(2005) Mystery - Venusian Arts Handbook (recommended by Karea over 2007)
(2007) Mystery - Method (similar to above)
(2008) Mystery - Revelation (still evaluating)
(2008) Franco - Getting the Good Girls
(2008) Franco - Practical Female Psychology
(2010) Franco - How to Easily Sleep With Any Woman You Want
(2010) Mystery - The Pickup Artist (still evaluating)
(2010) 60 YOC - Complete Game Revision System
(2011) Vin DiCarlo - Pandora's Box
(2011) Chase Amante - How to Make Girls Chase

Other valuable stuff I didn't keep (still whittling down the above): Ross Jeffries' book from the 1980's and a later one, David DeAngelo's Double Your Dating, The Game, Zan Perrion's Alabaster Girl, Vin DiCarlo's Attration Code, Sebastian Drake's Approach Blueprint.

Juggler's pretty cool. He's not mentioned much, but it's like natural game before "natural game" even came as a response to canned routines.

@KJ Francis

Man, I re-read Chase's How To Make Girls Chase and that's gotta be one of the best books I've ever read on the subject.

I'll go as far as saying it should be GC's flagship product instead of One Date.

So, yes, HTMGC for sure. Stoked to see it mentioned.

Zan's The Alabaster Girl contains a very healthy and balanced philosophy to women and dating.

Although there's not much practical advice (Zan sucks at that), the philosophy within is absolutely worth it.

I like Zan Perrion a lot as a person- I just don’t like his writing style compared to more straightforward writers like Tom torero and Nick krauser

It's so true - Chase's book absolutely holds up and is a total classic. It's what I would give a young cousin or someone like that as a Bible and the only thing they would need for a long time. It's also the last great seduction book I know of.

Zan's book was pretty cool - I didn't get through the bulk of it yet and will probably revisit down the line if I am battle-weary. I agree it is not at all a manual. It seems best suited to read hard copy on a train or sitting on the steps of an art museum haha

Adding a list from @Teevster

Dave Riker is not recommended for beginners.

My favourite products:

- Dave Riker - Language and Conversation
- Dave Riker - Speed Seduction Manual
- In10se - Game
- Swinggcat - Real World Seduction 2.0
- Gunwitch - Seduction MMA
- Love Systems (Cajun, Keychain, Veraticity etc) - Beyond Words
- Bishop - Bishop's Journal
- Sixty - The Complete System (physical game)

Best,
Teevster

Also to complement Cialdini and Bandler in the OP, these are other well-known books I have not read, and are not written by seducers:

(1974) Timothy Gallwey - The Inner Game of Tennis
(1993) Matt Ridley - The Red Queen
(1996) Robin Baker - Sperm Wars

True that, if I have a son, HTMGC is the book I'll hand him.

Yes, Zan's book is best read hard copy. Take small sips and you'll find enlightening bits here and there, especially whenever he talks about relationships. This guy really gets it.

"That's called the Red Queen's Race. You run this hard just to stay in place" - Jay Z

forgot to include with this group:
(2000) Geoffrey Miller - The Mating Mind

@Chase mentioned it in his latest article (thank you for the sextennial update!! I'll be diving into a few of them for sure). These have been mentioned over the years on the blog by Joseph W. South, Ricardus, Chase etc.

Sebastian Drake's Approach Blueprint
correction on this one - it's called the Attraction Handbook (2006). I was confusing the title with Tony Depp's Fearless Approach Blueprint.
